### 4/5 — Adequate but subsequently has its minor flaws.

*2013-12-26, version 4.2*

I was a little shaky at first when I had the anticipation of purchasing this app. I, for the benefit of the doubt, had resounding expectations when I first downloaded it. I was somewhat puzzled on how to import my files from my computer there. Now my only con regarding this app is that when I imported my mp3 files on the app, it works but I never thought that it gobbles your memory and when I deleted the app, it's all gone. How am I supposed to rely in this app when it consumes your device's memory and it's not saved when it should be when it's deleted. Other than that, everything's fine as far as I'm concerned. Just please explain me my issue.

### 2/5 — Terrible For Music

*2013-12-09, version 4.2*

This app probably is really good for transferring documents, photos, etc. But I'm looking for an app that will let me totally bypass iTunes for music on my phone. Features I need are: folder transfer (this app does it), organizes files and folders alphanumerically (doesn't), and a full featured music player (absolutely not).

The standard for naming music files is for the track number to be at the start of the track name. I want the app to organize the tracks according to those numbers automatically, and if not automatic, to give an option to organize this way.

Music player: the music player is extremely basic. It will run in the background, however the music "skips" or "drops" momentarily whenever I hit the home button to exit to the home screen, or when I lock the phone, or when I view the lock screen, basically when I do anything with my phone (bottom line, the music is always skip skip skipping). There is no playlists feature. You can't have the music playing while you do anything else in the app (like look for your next song).

If they would fix these problems, this app would be fairly ideal for my needs. As it is, it's a lot worse and more expensive than the $2 I paid for the last file transfer app I tried that didn't do what I needed.

### 2/5 — Obnoxious popups

*2013-08-03, version 3.7*

I have no idea why this developer thought it was a good idea to have a multi-page scrollable popup ad for their other products taking up the bottom 3rd of the screen. If the intent was to frustrate people into deleting the app, it's about to succeed on 3...2...1....

Dumb!!!

### 2/5 — Does not handle folders

*2012-11-18, version 2.0*

It should be more explicit in the description that it does not handle folders, especially when the screen images show documents organized in folders. The app seems to be well written and well behaved, but forcing you to copy files 1 by 1, and then rearrange them in folders is ridiculous and makes it unusable for any large volumes.

### 5/5 — File Manager is all I needed

*2012-10-20, version 1.6*

I used and tested a dozen file manager programs on AppStore, and this application is the best (With Cloud ability: Dropbox, with Offline Feature: FileStorage)
And now, I can import my files directly from Dropbox too.
Additionally, FileStorage can open almost all necessary file formats.
With Dropbox, everytime you should download your files to open, but with FileStorage you don't need again, when you downloaded them just one time. And interface is really user friendly, I even don't mention other file manager programs here.

### 4/5 — Good App.

*2012-07-03, version 1.0*

Good App. Great customer service, if you have a problem!

### 1/5 — Don’t buy it

*2020-06-17, version 5.1.1*

Save your money this app DOES NOT WORK!

### 1/5 — Useless...

*2018-11-14, version 5.1.1*

You can’t view files locally, other third apps ca, why not yours. I want to transfer a file, then open, or have Dropbox open it. Again, apps like GoButton will do it, so it’s not an IOS restriction.

I wasted 5 bucks.

### 1/5 — Doesnt work with the Files App on ios.

*2017-11-29, version 5.1.1*

It shows up as a location in the Files App of ios but will not show any content. Customer support emails go unanswered.

### 1/5 — The worst

*2016-01-24, version 5.0*

Don't waste your money like I did

### 1/5 — CRAP...

*2015-11-17, version 5.0*

This app has potential, but when is my opinion is that the original app designer made the first review...waaaaaay over the top and way too much information about this app that they "stumbled across....." Yeah right. Nice try... Don't be stupid and waste your money like I might have if I didn't run across this app for free. With all of the security issues we have today, trust me when I say that that you don't want this open door to all of your files and private info. There's much better apps that at least offer some password protection. "Video Downloader Pro" (I don't own it - I like it). It also allows password protection, WEBDAV and wireless file transfer from your pc. Can also use the app store to drag and drop files. 6-pin password if you choose as well as allowing you to set your own password protection through your WEBDAV server security. Plays audio files, allows local and cloud storage, as well as playing encoded files flawlessly (even x265 HEVC video files, along with all other codec formats, audio and video). Also have the ability to create and organize folders, background audio playing (from outside the app). You can also organize and view your photo library. Sorry to bash this but when an app developer flaunts their own lackluster app, it runs me the wrong way, especially with all of the security issues that exist today. There are much better FREE apps out there even.

### 1/5 — Give up

*2015-11-16, version 5.0*

Doesn't work. Too complicated. No support.

### 1/5 — Was a great app

*2014-10-14, version 4.4*

This was a very good app. However, after updating iPad Air to iOS 8.0.2 and updating the app to version 4.4, it does not work at all. Reported to customer service, and told them very clearly that I was using version 4.4, and all they could suggest was to update to version 4.4. They apparently are not fluent in English.

### 1/5 — Requires other software on PC

*2013-05-28, version 3.3*

There was nothing in the description that said you HAVE to install Bonjour on your PC for this to work with your PC. Please put that in the requirements.

### 1/5 — Something not right

*2013-04-17, version 3.2*

IMHO this is a bogus app. Attempts to send limited to clipboard. When something is copied to clipboard, send function is disabled.

Like the title says, sumthing aint right here.

### 2/5 — No password protection.

*2015-11-16, version 5.0*

This app has no password protection which makes it unusable for me. Too bad.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Love these guys!

*2014-04-12, version 4.3*

I use Local Cloud, File Storage, and File Transfer, and it's amazingly easy to move things between all my devices. Props to the developers, this stuff is excellent! Thank you! Highly recommended, you can't go wrong.

### 5/5 — does what I needed it to do

*2014-01-23, version 4.2*

I needed to store PDF files and excel files locally on the ipad. this app works to do that so I am happy. pathetic however that apple doesn't make it so the ipad and iphobe don't do this out of the box!?!?

### 5/5 — Absolutely Perfect

*2013-10-15, version 4.2*

This is the perfect solution to the lack of a "File System" in iOS. I would recommend this app to anyone, totally worth they money. -iOS 7.0.2, iPhone 5 model A1429, Sprint-

### 5/5 — Love it!

*2013-09-30, version 4.1*

The only file manager that has an iOS 7 style design. Very clean UI. Great app

### 5/5 — Nice App

*2013-07-30, version 3.7*

After using this app for a while, I must say it works very well. If you want an app to store files in one place on your device then this is the one. There aren't too many frills. Hopefully, the developers will keep it that way.

It is very easy to rename files and move them among a folder structure and, of course, open them in other apps. Also, files can be transferred between iOS devices VERY fast.

Plus, there is a small PC applet that makes it painless to transfer files to and from my desktop and laptop. The advantage of this is iTunes does not have to be launched. Plus, entire folder structures can be transferred. And again, it is very fast -- faster than my FTP app (however, I do have to be at the PC; otherwise, this app does work just fine with my FTP app).

This app also links to Dropbox and Google Drive, creating Dropbox and Google Drive folders to go along with the other folders.

One thing I would like to see -- and have brought this to the attention of the developers (and received a nice response): capability to move a file from Dropbox or Google Drive into a folder in File Storage. This can already be accomplished by opening the file into another app and then opening it back into File Storage, but it shouldn't have to be that cumbersome.

I am very happy with this app and do recommend it.

### 5/5 — Awesome

*2013-05-25, version 3.3*

Awesome easy simple app to use that does what you want it to do.

### 5/5 — Awesome

*2013-04-30, version 3.2*

This is an exceptionally well-designed app, with quite fantastic features. I fell in love when I opened a .zip file without any hassle at all. I didn't even know you could do that.

### 5/5 — Good fair

*2013-04-18, version 3.2*

This app is quite good, hope it works great! Thanks

### 5/5 — Great

*2013-01-14, version 2.3*

Great app works beautifully. I would like to see the video player fit iPhone 5 screen and be able to move folders not just files. But other than that it does everything I want it to do and does it well!

### 5/5 — Awesome

*2012-10-31, version 1.6*

Just what I was looking for!

One suggestion: allow transfer of folders from the Mac application to an iOS device!
