Thank you. ### 4/5 — 改善要望 ２点 *2026-06-20* iPadで利用している。 やりたい事がほぼ出来る。 サポートメールに出しても良いけど、のんびり待っても良いかな程度の改善して欲しい点が２つ。 1つ目はGoogleスプレッドシートへの容易なアクセス。 GoogleDriveにアクセス出来るのは良いがスプレッドシートへのアクセスは ハンバーガーメニューからの選択になっている。これをpdfやExcelと同様に、編集ボタンが出てアクセスが容易になるようにして欲しい。 2つ目 PDFの内容表示状態からのメニューに「ファイル名称の編集」が欲しい。 ファイル名の修正をしたい時に、内容を見て閉じてしまうと似たファイル名が並んでいる時にどれを修正したかったのかが判らなくなる事への対応です。 全機能を使ってないが、何かをしようとした時にOSの「ショートカット」Appで出来る事も多く大変便利です。 **Developer response:** Thank you for your suggestions. If you depend on your iOS device to manage files, then this is the only choice! & it’s necessary given that Apple only provides us with a toy file management app. ### 5/5 — Fantastic *2026-04-27, version 26.3* Would appreciate a few of the basic video player quality of life like pan/zoom or seek gestures but I can launch files externally if it’s a cumbersome addition. ### 5/5 — Got an iPad, get this, its a productivity powerhouse *2026-04-26* Update April 2026: FB just gets better with every release, the Developer really does support it, Combine this with Shortcuts, (I have a shortcut that opens two windows making it so easy to copy or move files on my NAS. But using it in a single window is a real delight too. This app started out as incredible, but with the continual development it had just got better and better. Please can you make a toggle? ### 5/5 — Can't live without app *2026-04-03* I've just bought an iPad and found that things I just couldn't do, moving and opening files on my NAS was just painful! I have tried other file apps which seem limited in my opinion, that is until I found FB Pro, it's an absolute beauty, does everything I want, which a small exception. Getting onto my NAS remotely hasn't worked out for some reason it may be my fault, so I have just has to settle for VPN, which is probably safer anyway. One thing have found is that editing in place with excel, is very slow, but by quitting all other apps it works very well, not sure why that is, but I can cope with that. It’s one of the most powerful useful, functional stable tools in my digital toolkit. Background folder syncing happens effortlessly and keeps my media folders up to date. The gui is robust and full of features. Accessing my NAS and and SMB shares is easy. The devs are updating regularly and the patch notes are very welcome. ### 5/5 — Currently no JFIF support *2026-03-28* App was initially missing support for JFIF image formats but I left a comment and developer implemented a fix on next version. Having to pay for pro with less functionality than the free basic FileBrowser gives this app 1 star. ### 1/5 — Unable to get it started *2026-06-16, version 26.4* Worst initial startup of all the apps I dealt with would like my money back ### 1/5 — Keeps crashing *2026-06-01, version 26.4* When I open a picture, it shows Expanding…, then crashes. I bought this app mainly for the picture slides feature, but it keeps crashing, crashing and crashing during the slide shows. I have restarted the iPad, shut down and turned back on, exit the app, uninstalled and reinstalled, none of them helped. When are you going to fix it? ### 1/5 — Image Rename IPad Issues *2026-05-25, version 26.4* Bought for photograph renaming and don’t work getting the following error when try to rename photographs iOS does not allow image renaming and no image batch renaming either so a waste of money the app shows you can mass rename images but not so test on new m4 air so want for above look else where don’t work. ### 1/5 — Absolute garbage *2026-04-23, version 26.3* After some effort, managed to back up a few files, but did not know it. When I needed a backup, it was not there. It is not transparent. It does not work! Shortly after this review, my iPad crashed. Apple reloaded the iOS, but lost all data. Recovered nearly all files from the cloud but all of the acrobat files were lost. Fortunately, most of the files were also on my pc laptop. Does this happen when you're connected with a particular computer or cloud service? ### 1/5 — Misleading — requires separate $15 Mac purchase *2026-03-19, version 26.1* The app presents itself as part of a Mac-to-iPhone file sharing solution but is client-only. To actually use it with your Mac you need to separately buy “FileBrowser Pro for Mac”, a completely different $14.99 app. This is not made clear anywhere in the listing. To make it worse, there’s also a “FileBrowser Professional” bundle for iPhone, making three similarly named products that are easy to confuse. When I copy or move a file, it spins and spins with “Estimating time…” Worst file/folder management app” ## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — [FileBrowser (Pro)] Bug/Error Report *2026-08-25* Hello, I’m experiencing an issue with the photo viewer in the Files app when swiping through images horizontally. When swiping to the right, images transition smoothly without any additional loading or visible delay. However, when swiping to the left, the image starts loading again every time I swipe, resulting in a noticeable loading delay. I tested this under various conditions, and the issue occurs consistently regardless of which image or page I am viewing. In other words, every time I swipe to the left, the same loading issue occurs. Since the issue only occurs when navigating to the previous image and never occurs when navigating to the next image, it seems likely that there may be a problem with the logic responsible for handling leftward/previous-image navigation. This significantly affects the overall usability of the app. Please investigate this issue and consider fixing it in a future update. If you have a lot of cloud or other storage systems, Filebrowser will make managing these so much easier compared to individual apps like Files, Google Drive, etc., or using a web browser. One of the main benefits is you can manage just about every cloud or file storage service out there within Filebrowser. You can create automated tasks for backing up, checking for updates, and so on. I have been using it for years. They roll out regular improvements and customer support is responsive.
