## What is FileDrop?

FileDrop is a fast cross-platform file transfer app for Mac, iPhone, and iPad.

Send and receive photos, videos, PDFs, documents, folders, ZIP archives, and other supported files between Apple devices, Android devices, and Windows computers.

Use nearby device discovery between FileDrop devices, or create a QR transfer session for Android and Windows. No FileDrop installation is required on the Android or Windows device.

CROSS-PLATFORM QR FILE SHARING

Share files with Android phones, Android tablets, and Windows computers through a local browser session.

Open FileDrop, display the QR code, and scan it from the other device. A local transfer page opens in the browser, allowing the user to send or receive supported files without installing FileDrop.

A verification code helps confirm the local transfer session.
