So I went to the site specified which had instructions. That's where the problems started - the instructions are not complete / correct, as it doesn't create the folder specified when downloading the zip file and extracting it. Deleted this app within in five minutes. So far just doesn't seem to do what it says on the packet. I put in the IP address, my username and password and I get an error (unauthorized user). Trying to transfer files to my ipad is all but impossible! ### 3/5 — Clever but frustrating *2014-04-24, version 1.3.3* This gives your iPad instant access to all the files on your iMac, which is great. Getting files out of this filing system and into other apps e.g Photos, is not so easy. Getting files from other apps into Files n Folders is also tricky. Photo will not let you transfer your camera snaps to Files n Folders. Also,if you want to transfer Photos from your camera roll, say, to your iMac, Photos will not give you permission. I've tried one or two other filing apps as well and it seems that Apple just want to frustrate any attempt to do anything like normal filing and file movement. Perhaps I' missing something. Writing this review is bloody difficult on the iMac as well, the text does not scroll properly - I'm typing this blind with no opportunity to post-edit. PS - There are probably too few reviews here because if you take the time to write a review and submit it and your nickname is already taken, it deletes the entire review and you have to start all over again. Someone should fix that. ### 5/5 — Clever and very helpful *2014-12-17, version 1.3.6* I cannot understand the negative reviews. This is a clever well-thought out app. I can see files on my PC in this app, download them and view them. I can upload pictures music etc back to the PC without having to use the annoying itunes. One would think that this essential capability would be part of OS 8 by now, wouldn't you? But one would be sorely mistaken!! The fact that I can preview a file before copying it from my PC, and the fact that this app is so easy to use and straightforward and nice to work with should make you very, very proud! Job well done! ### 5/5 — Excellent ALLin1 Data Transfer App *2014-01-08, version 1.3.1* I personally recommend this app. It is very easy and fast in transferring files from Apple device to PC and vice-versa. It also allows transfer between your Apple device and multiple PCs. Moving and/or saving file from the PC/server to the iPad is great, however there is no way to then save or move the file back to the PC/server. PS I'm using an iPOD Touch and iOS 5+ ### 5/5 — Fantastic file viewer and copier over network *2012-01-17, version 1.1.3* Just what I was looking for. Use your PC as a server and play your music, view photos on your IPad just like they are installed on it. this saves filling up your storage with music and pictures. of course it can also copy picture files from your PC to your IPad in to the downloads area for viewing. looks like you can copy files from your iPad to the PC, but still to test that, but it's the streaming I was after and saves me using a wireless hard drive. My PC is running windows XP and the extra file you have to download on your PC is straight forward, but just unzips and has no installer, so you need to make a short cut link manually for it to easily run. An automated installer would help here to make it easier to set up and an auto start service for the PC. Also in the trial I clicked on download to copy a file from my PC to the Ipad and nothing seemed to happen, but it did actually download it and doing this several times terminated the trials 11 downloads. So a message is required to indicate copied.
