I love the reusable bottles, especially because they stack! Unfortunately, I’m unable to get the scanner to work. It will snap a pic and spin and come back on to snap a pic (repeat…). I downloaded the app so that I could personally track my impact. But often times find the scanner won’t focus on the smaller codes on the containers when checking in or out the containers. Please fix. ### 2/5 — App freezes, incorrect reuse data shown, cannot save my profile picture. *2022-12-02, version 4.6.1* At times, the app freezes and I have to close it and reopen. I cannot save my profile picture (I can save and see my background picture in my profile, as I’d expect though). Reuse data in the home view shows zero or other incorrect values on all the three time periods, which is not correct based on my reuses. It also shows zero average reuses for me, in my profile page. Can you please look into this, and fix such issues? ### 3/5 — Right direction, needs work. *2022-10-03, version 4.5.3* Love the app and idea, but the app needs some work. Besides it freezing, some sections just turn white and you must close to app and reopen it. Able able to see your metrics (believe is was in older versions) would be nice. Currently, you only see your hydration amount and number of scans. The whole point is to take pictures of the QR code but it takes nearly 5mins to get the camera to read the code. Way to cop out on not having to donate money to the cause you say you support. I bet if the scanner worked correctly people would actually use it. It either crashes the app or gives me an error. For contacting the developers from the app I need to download another app (mail). Great concept, poor execution. ### 1/5 — Unusable and false information being spread around *2023-08-21, version 4.7.0* I wasted 5 dollars today because a Cornell staff told new students that we could drop off our used takeout container and pick up a new one LATER. Using that information, I scanned and dropped off my new container and intended to pick up my new container after dinner because the line and crowd control was incredibly poor. When I went to the front desk to pick up a new container, I was met with criticism and negative comments from the lady working there, Apparently, dropping off and picking up a new container has to be done AT ONCE: you CANNOT pick up a new container later. With that being said, the app couldn’t even prove that I already turned in my container 30 minutes ago. I even showed the lady proof that I payed the 5 $ fee to buy the container. She said that everything was useless and I HAD to spend another $5 to get a new container, even though I was already part of the container program. I am tired of having to spend useless and unnecessary fees on campus, $5 adds up. I appreciate the awareness being brought to the need and importance of clean water for all people and also all the efforts being made to reduce as much as possible the use of plastic which, as we all know, is an incredible detriment to our bodies and our environment as a whole. I personally own about 6 of them now and have them on rotation so that I never go without fresh water.
