Invaluable for the thoughtful photographer
As a new 35mm film photographer I use Frames for each of my rolls, which allows me to compare the final (scanned) result with the context in which the photo was captured. I make a quick note of the intent at the time of capture, and Frames also saves time of day, location, and exposure settings. This then allows me to analyze the result later on in Lightroom, and update my workflow or camera settings before my next shoot.

Great product
Easy to use and integrates seamlessly with the desktop app. Makes embedding meta data a simple task
Response from developer
Thank you!
Super useful
Incredibly useful for tracking metadata for film photography, especially with the ability to embed that metadata on the Mac app to the scanned photos. The developer is also super responsive to feedback and suggestions.
Film Photographers Must Have
I recently got back into film photography. Of course film lacks all of the meta data associated with digital something I wish all of my old negatives and slides had.
I bought a notebook to record various information but who wants to mess with paper and pen. Then I found Frames. Super convenient and easier accessible. Yes it takes time to stop and record the data but who goes into shooting with film to hurry up. I wanted to slow down.
IMHO, this is a necessary tool for film photographers. And Vincent is very responsive to your comments and suggestions.
