## What is Filmic Legacy?

Filmic Legacy is available only to filmmakers who paid for Filmic Pro v6 before the 25th of August, 2022. It will continue to receive bug fixes but will not receive any new features.

Filmic Legacy (previously FiLMiC Pro v6) features cutting-edge capabilities and a responsive manual filming experience.

Filmic Pro provides filmmakers, newscasters, teachers, vloggers, and artists with the capability to shoot in a true LOG gamma curve. LOG V2/V3/V3* allows for greater tonal range and flexibility in post production by expanding dynamic range and setting the iPhone’s capabilities on par with traditional camera systems costing thousands more.
 
Filmic Pro also offers a range of cinematic film looks that can be applied in-camera at time of capture to deliver a truly cinematic aesthetic without the need for timely grading in post.*

Sous ios18 tout fonctionnait bien, mais sous iOS26 l'app finit par planter. Et le remote ne se connecte qu'une fois sur deux aléatoirement, c'est insupportable.

Boa tarde amigos. 

Comprei a versão Pro v6 se não me engano. 

E agora quando fui utilizar novamente após alguns anos meu aplicativo Pro, no caso o que eu comprei, não estão funcionando corretamente. Ele fez um downgrade para uma versão chamada Legacy, que não foi a que eu comprei. 

Me lembro de ter comprado a Pro e ainda adicionei um pacote de cores. 

Como eu resolvo esta situação?

### 1/5 — Recording with Ext Mic Disabled?

Looks like recording with Ext Mic has been disabled in one of the updates. Hope this is not a ploy to force us to upgrade even after paying for the original version which supported this  feature. In particular, the record button doesn’t work when the Ext Mic is plugged in even though it is capturing sound, once disconnected the record button immediately works.

I purchased your Filmic App when it 1st launched with no problems. With the takeover you changed to a subscription model. Since this the Filmic Legacy App has sadly gone downhill. The audio 22.4.2026 is not recording along side the video. The new owners should have honoured their previous Filmic users in good faith. Please could you update the Filmic Legacy App that we paid for.

So even with the update, you expect that the audio works? It does except it doesn’t record the audio, even though it does appear to be.  

Why would you do this to legacy users? You’ve just updated the app two weeks ago and now you don’t seem to care about fixing it again even with those issues.

I'm aware this is not supposed to be supported, but surely we should not be sabotaged by maintenance updates! Just reviewed footage from last Tuesday and no audio is recorded, it's useless. Yet testing just now shows level meters working fine, audio definitely enabled, no Bluetooth. Recorded video shows MOS instead of WAV. Unrepeatable content lost, I am gutted. Reddit thread shows I am not alone either.

2026年4月にアプリをアップデートしたら音声が収録されなくなった。
内臓マイクも外部マイクもダメ。
iPhone 14pro maxで使用しているがマイクの設定やアプリの音声設定もチェック済みです。
再ダウンロードしてもダメでした。
なんとかしてほしい。
