Only marginally more convenient than just googling
Doesn’t support adding or following studios, can’t easily find a director in movie search, is barely native ui look and feel, extremely thin metadata shown on movie search and view, and on top of all that claims to be worth money and randomly blocks certain actors or directors on the free version for some reason.
Developer clearly doesn’t understand that the pro tier of an app this scale should not gate core features, if you do not have enough in your pro tier to warrant an upgrade without gutting the core, then make it a paid app entirely or add more features for pro users.

Fantasic
A great idea, allowing you to track what you want to watch as well as what you have seen and when
Prefer the older version
Older version of this app was much better and 5*. Now it’s barely a 2*.
I’d like to be able to open the app and the movies I’ve watched are right there on my screen, ready for me to add more. A simple app to log the films I have watched as the name suggests. In the past that’s how it was. The option to change something as simple as that is now behind a paywall. Greed at its finest on show right there. Very disappointed.

One time purchase option is nice
Been using filmlog for a minute now, and I did get a bit worried when I thought I needed to use a subscription for the features again, but all I had to do was hit restore purchase. Apologies for the confusion, keep up the good work!
Monetization issues
I’ve been using Filmlog since almost late 2021, so it made me really sad to see that when I went to log a movie today, that all the features I’d been using for the past 3 years suddenly got put behind a paywall. Monetizing previously existing features rather than adding any new ones is a really lame business practice, because it just punishes anyone that was used to how things was by making them need to pay for a subscription service (really?) to have those same features. Really disappointed, especially since i used to recommend this to friends :(
