## What is FilmPal?

It is easy to get lost with how many films are released every day, amongst the various streaming platforms, theaters and networks. FilmPal was made to make your movie and television consumption easier. Stay on top of all the shows you want to watch and never forget that one movie someone told you to check out. 

With details including movie earning breakdowns, season details, summary and related films, the details page gives you everything you need to know in a glance about a film you are interested in. After you have decided a film is right for you, you can easily add it to your watchlist with the tap of a button. After you have decided to give the film a watch, move it over to your seen list so you do not come back in a year wondering if you have seen that particularly familiar looking film. If you want to stay on top of your growing collection of movies, add it to your owned list. 

Take note of how excited you were as soon as you found a film with the excitement meter, take note of how you felt about a film after watching it with the rating meter. Want to give some more details on your experience? Leave notes on the film that will always be there for you to come back to and view. 

With more features currently being worked on including show reminders, actor and actress details, and user made lists, FilmPal will soon be your one stop shop for everything Movie and TV.

So far, as I open this app, it seems very limited to blockbuster Hollywood movies only. Those ate not hard to keep track of…no app needed. Disappointed

**Developer response:** Hey there! Terribly sorry on this late response, I’ve been focusing on the 2.0 release of FilmPal. I am sorry that FilmPal didn’t serve your needs and let me start by saying this new release will unfortunately not resolve the issues that you currently have. However, discovery is something I plan to focus on now that 2.0 is out. I have some pretty exciting ideas, and I hope you give FilmPal another shot down the road once they have been implemented. Thanks for the feedback!

So far exactly what I was looking for, just a quick, attractive way to keep a watch list. My only issues so far are that on my iPhone 11 the ads are placed almost directly over the menu buttons so it can be tricky to select them, and a minor personal wish to be able to choose the number of items in a column to make the posters a little larger. Other than that I’m enjoying and hopeful that the developer will continue to work on and improve the app. I’d definitely be willing to pay to remove ads.

**Developer response:** Hello there! Thank you for your feedback, paying to remove ads is definitely something I am looking to add soon. I’m testing removing the banner ad and instead having one full screen ad on your first open of a film per session. If you have any thoughts on this please feel free to email me. I have many planned features that I plan to have added soon, however poster size was not something I had considered, I will be sure to look into changing column sizes on smaller devices. I do hope you enjoy the other planned changes!
