## What is Filo?

Filo is a companion for crochet and knitting that works entirely offline: row counters built to be used without looking, a pattern reader that keeps your place, and a yarn stash that can tell you whether you have enough — before you start.

COUNT WITHOUT THINKING
• Big counters with a full-screen work mode: tap anywhere, or press the volume keys — no need to look at the screen
• A haptic tick on every count, with an optional click sound
• Targets and automatic repeats: counting past the target starts the next repeat
• Linked counters that advance automatically every N rows of another
• Reminders at a value ("start decreases at row 42"), so you can stop watching the pattern
• Stitch counting in the round, for spirals and amigurumi
• Keeps the screen awake while you work

YOUR PATTERNS, OFFLINE
• Import a PDF, photograph a printed page, pick an image, or paste the text
• Scan a printed pattern: text recognition reads the page so the reader can follow it line by line
• The reader highlights the row you are on, keeps your place and can advance as you count
• Text search inside PDFs and patterns
• Reading ruler for rows and charts, page tints (dim, night) and adjustable text size
• Glossary of standard abbreviations, plus the ones a designer made up
• Everything stays on your device and works with no signal
