## What is Filter?

Your music. Your way. Filter is an Apple Music player that automatically skips songs matching the artists, keywords, and genres you choose.

Spend less time reaching for Skip and more time enjoying your library.

FILTER WHAT YOU HEAR
Create filters for artists, words in song titles, or genres. Skip matching songs immediately, skip after a short delay, or simply record matches without interrupting playback.

MAKE EXCEPTIONS
Apply filters across your listening or give individual playlists their own settings. Keep a playlist unfiltered, or choose a different set of filters just for it.

SEE WHAT GOT FILTERED
Review matching songs in a dedicated “Filtered” playlist in your Apple Music library. Check your listening history to see which filters matched and what happened.

BUILD YOUR OWN MIXES
Create playlists combining individual songs and artists. Choose top tracks or all tracks for artist entries, then play or shuffle your mix.

KEEP LISTENING
Enjoy playback controls, an editable queue, shuffle, repeat, and a sleep timer. Block an artist or give a song a one-week break.

KEEP YOUR DATA YOURS
Start with local storage. Optionally enable private iCloud sync through Sign in with Apple. Export and import your global filters. No ads, analytics, or tracking.

An Apple Music subscription and permission to access your music library are required for playback. Filters apply to music played through Filter; they do not change playback in the Apple Music app or other players.
