Pro Access your character Check equipment Sell and buy equipment Chat Cons Can’t complete anything without login into game Can’t use squads Can’t craft or look at recipes No mini games Would be more useful if able to use app as a tool while players in work or on holiday to do more. Application just seems to want you to log back in to complete anything. Limited use based on my experience so far. ### 2/5 — Nett aber nicht wirklich brauchbar *2026-01-27* Bis auf dass man ein Überblick des Inventar hat und man mal zwischen was verkaufen und kaufen kann. Ist diese App nicht wirklich brauchbar. Wieso kann ma Gehilfen nicht komplett abschließe und erneut losschicken? Oder wieso sind solche Sachen wie Einsätze vom Mahlstrom nicht hierüber steuerbar? Man muss immer 18 Stunden warten sich erneut einloggen und über das Spiel steuern aber ich finde so lange Einsätze könnte man perfekt hierüber abwickeln. ### 2/5 — Application intéressante, mais mal conçu *2024-04-30* Application intéressante. Possibilité de voir les objets vendus d’accéder à l’achat de vente mais malheureusement très mal conçu même sans payer ou en payant. Cette application est pratiquement inutile et sur une ancienne technologie, Cette application nécessite une grosse mise à jour et surtout une mise au point avec la technologie d’aujourd’hui. Pouvoir nous abonner directement depuis l’application engager des servants en pouvant utiliser les moyens de paiement à disposition sur l’Apple Store comme d’autres applications de SQUARE ENIX ### 2/5 — Micro transactions *2024-02-14* After subscription to the game you have micro transactions in order to use this apps full functionality!! Mittlerweile hat sich aber vieles gebessert und unsere Raidgruppe nutzt die App regelmäßig um uns an Termine zu erinnern oder miteinander zu schreiben. Wenn man mehr nicht erwartet als bisschen zu chatten und zur Terminerinnung ist die App vollkommen in Ordnung. ### 3/5 — Ganz oke, aber… *2022-06-14* Die App funktioniert sehr gut. Ich würde mir jedoch wünsche, dass man hier auch wirklich nützlich Dinge einsehen kann, wie z. B. wo man Materialien sammeln kann. Da wäre es sinnvoll die Eorzea-Datenbank zu implementieren. ### 1/5 — A useless disaster *2021-08-31* This app does practically nothing that can’t be done in game, only it does so with a janky and confusing interface, and it wants you to pay continuously in real currency for the privilege. Worse, major pieces of utility don’t even work when you’re actually logged in to play the game, even though that’s the only time I ever use it. Also, it logs you out. Often. And with unhelpful error messages. As though we care about app internals as it screws up. This is Square Enix’s worst product. Avoid. ### 1/5 — What’s the point? *2021-08-10* If you could freely update your retainers, send on ventures, use a second map etc this would value. Honestly even if you could use as glamour mirror for trying on different outfits/weapons etc it would be useful. Sinon il faut payer pour pouvoir d’avantage effectuer ce genre de transaction. Sinon, on peut consulter son inventaire, ce qui n’est pas très utile, et le chat semble bien fonctionner tout de même. ### 2/5 — Simple and functional but inconvenient *2021-06-23* FFXIV Companion is a mobile app that allows players of Final Fantasy XIV to view their in-game inventory and friends lists while they’re away from their computer or console. It also allows players to buy and sell items using their retainers at the cost of one Kupo Nut per action (e.g. buying an item, selling an item, changing an item’s price, etc.). Players earn one Kupo Nut per day when they log into the app. This app also has a few more features such as transferring items between your character and your retainers. However, those features unfortunately cannot be accessed unless you pay a premium rate for this app. Personally, I don’t really see the point of paying premium for this app as it only adds to the cost of playing the game. If anything, it’s only most useful for checking your inventory and friends list while you’re away from your computer or console and nothing more. Therefore, although this app is simple to use and functional, it’s not very convenient, so I wouldn’t invest so much into it. ### 2/5 — Nett, aber nicht gut. *2021-04-13* Nett ist diese App in jedem Falle. Leider nicht für den Handel (Hauptgrund für die Nutzung der App) komplett unbrauchbar, jede Anpassung auf dem Markt Kostet eine Nuss oder Münze. Man fährt in diesem Fall besser auf die App zu verzichten und direkt in Gehilfen zu investieren. Schade ### 3/5 — Stabil, aber unzureichende Features *2021-03-31* Die App scheint soweit fehlerfrei zu laufen, allerdings hat sie mir viel zu wenige Features um tatsächlich brauchbar zu sein. Ich kann mir zum Beispiel wenige Gründe vorstellen, warum ich von der App aus mein Inventar verwalten oder Sachen am Marktbrett kaufen wollen würde, besonders da das nicht funktioniert solange man eingeloggt ist. Das Verkaufen sehe ich noch ein, da man nur 20 Slots hat und so mal zwischendurch neue Sachen verkaufen kann, wenn man gerade keine Zeit hat das Spiel zu starten. Andererseits fehlen einige Sachen, die eigentlich no-brainer sein sollten, zum Beispiel das Einsehen der Timer und die Verwaltung der Gehilfen-Erkundungen oder Kommando-Einsätze. This has been there for years. Here, we get a JPEG of our character in a clunky app that A) may as well be a webpage disguising itself as an app and B) barely works. Please get this app up to 2025 standards. The game has been around for years, and having this as the official companion is a bit of a low-point for Squenix. ### 1/5 — The utility would be great…. However to charge for kupo nuts to be able to sell items is a huge miss and appalling. If they changes this the app would be actually useful. Very disappointing. Im shocked they have not addressed this ### 1/5 — Disappointing and irrelevant. *2023-01-07* I have been playing XIV for years and it’s my favourite game, I absolutely adore it. The same can’t be said for this app however, as it’s existence serves as nothing more than accessing some extra on-person storage in game, and behind a paywall no less. It’s purpose is very niche, I don’t know anyone who’s desperate enough to play the market board or access their inventory when they’re not logged into the game. Frankly, I’m shocked they haven’t discontinued this app and offered the extra storage through other means. Overall, it’s an incredibly disappointing outlier next to the MMO, and couldn’t be further from representing the usual high quality surrounding the game. ### 1/5 — Clunky and Pointless *2022-04-18* Most of the features on this app seem better provided elsewhere. I tried the app to see if I could get information on my retainer sales. From what I can tell, you can see how many items are being sold by each retainer - otherwise, no. The loading times are long and changing between characters is even slower. Yes there are features of this app that are locked behind that bundle, but it costs more for a single retainer elsewhere. So you are loosing nothing here. Ich finde es geht wesentlich besser und leichter als im Spiel und seit der App hab ich einen viel einfacheren überblick über meinen „Kram“. Klar kostet die Premium-Version etwas, aber für mich ist es das ganze Wert!
