However you get to a point where you can’t merge without paying $50 for a special item. It’s not available in any cheaper pack or video reward, nothing. I could see paying $5-$10 but $50? Come on. For chapter progress, daily rewards, Medal Challenge, and deck upgrades all help you build up over time. The tower defense gameplay is easy to get into, but there’s enough strategy in choosing upgrades and dealing with different waves to keep it interesting. Progression feels satisfying and the battles get pretty intense as you move further.
