I missed out on the evangeline collaboration and still hope that it’s still in the game. Waifus and Mecs is a greats idea and the platform is well done. Cyberpunk didn’t do well at the beginning but is now I hallmark of gaming which is what I see in this title. No incentive to spend anything due to the best strategy being to pull for a full custom mech every few months with no benefit to diversifying teams especially given how slow farming for talent materials is, and yet free currency is very sparse. Was a very fun game before border conflict which has system errors every other battle. I have received several the same way. Please resolve issue!!! ### 5/5 — Underrated I think? *2022-08-09, version 1.29.0* Ran into this game looking for some anime girls to quench my thirst lol. Honestly pays really good compared to a lot of the copy paste apps I see ads for. Visuals seem great, artwork is great, gameplay seems interesting and different but a little hard to tell what’s going on when characters are overlapping. I did spend some one, and got some good gear. However, one of the pilots who I spent on, that should be one of the best, is a poor performer. Wish you a happy life. ### 1/5 — North American Paywall Will Cost You! *2022-05-20, version 1.25.20* This publisher has decided that players in North American can pay hundreds of dollars to procure in-game credits (aka crystals) in order to recruit and promote key characters (aka pilots). Players attached to servers in other countries do not have this same cost structure. This creates a misleading condition where you may be lured by player and influencer videos showing you how awesome certain characters are only to find that the limited time availability of those characters either leaves you saving for months or years or paying an exorbitant price to obtain recruitment credits. And while the game initially allowed for me to play, still crashed every 10 minutes or so. I turned all the graphics to lowest possible setting and changed resolution to the smallest it could go. But now I can’t even download the newest update. Crashes to Home Screen every time I try to download. By sides those issues, which is obviously why I gave it a 3 star. The game has fun mechanics and the mechs and the pilots all have great art! Gameplay is fun and can be challenging! It’s a gotcha game so obviously you can pay to win, but I have found that I could still have a fun time without purchases. It’s completely random. It could be mid mission, or between changing option screens, mostly it’s right at the end of a mission completion or most currently it’s on chapter 4 of a story mission; as soon as the cinematic gets done and then the chat session between characters is over the first syllable of the character’s line begins and then the game crashes. Back to the title screen I go and now every time I try to go into the battle screen it takes me right back to the cinematic and starts it all over again. It doesn’t matter if I’m on Wi-Fi or not it does it every time. I think I have spent more time in the title screen than I have in the actual gameplay in the last 48 hours.
