I have played 8 games since I got the app, and am sitting at a solid 6 - 2. I bring this up because the app says I’m 5 - 2 in the global stats, so small bug there. Keep up the good work, and long live the Final Girl. ### 5/5 — Amazing Companion *2024-04-19* Upon initial download I was not expecting such amazing features! The game log and lifetime tracking stats are amazing, as is the ability to use the app to track player and killer health. My one point of even better if… would be being able to increase killer health above the standard limits for when Minor Dark Powers activate - I was able to play my game without my ocd kicking in about heart locations and rotations, but then a MDP came into play and I had to make them just right 🫣😇😂 ### 5/5 — Love the app! *2024-04-18* Love the app. As of this writing I think there is something wrong w/ the gruesome deaths tracker. It seems to count multiple times even though I pressed it correctly once/whenever the victim/s die. ### 5/5 — The Perfect Companion App *2024-04-18* This is a great companion app to the Final Girl boardgame. It lets you track win/loss stats, generate random combos from only films you own, and tracks health and victim stats while playing the game. If you have a lot of previous plays (like I do) you can even add old games and change the dates. The Scenarios and Gruesome Death Books are an optional in-app purchase that integrates directly into your games. Only 2 stars because this app needs a way to sync or at least backup data. It’s 2025 and is the apple ecosystem, how hard can it be ### 2/5 — Always counts time even if you don’t know it *2025-03-14* The app really needs a way to exclude time from specific games in the same way it can turns. Currently if you didn’t track this for a game well now your time stats are meaningless. App also doesn’t allow you to record additional health through minor dark powers, making the health tracking useless. ### 3/5 — Barebones and $$$ *2025-03-17* No music? No assistance in carrying out a round; basically a timer and a trophy case for all the games I haven’t bought yet. The app makes it easy to track game stats, which is mostly what I use it for. I prefer to do in-game upkeep in “analog” fashion. Two minor quibbles, one (pie-in-the-sky) suggestion. First minor complaint is that the interface for recording the date of a game is a bit fiddly. The dial is small and often spins too fast or to slow. It makes entering dates rather tedious. A normal drop-down or even a calendar would be better. Second minor issue is that (at least on iPad) the graphic for Final Girl and Killer health is just barely to big to fit the screen in vertical mode when one of them drops to ONE health. This requires scrolling down to finish the game. (Admittedly not a big deal.) Dream addition? The ability to add custom Final Girls to stats. With so many possibilities for fan-made Final Girls, it would be great to be able add them into the app to track their plays and wins and losses. Best feature though is the reminder to get +1 die when health is low. A must buy for fans of the game! ### 5/5 — Excellent *2024-09-22* Really enjoying using the app to track my plays etc. It’s simple to use but surprisingly detailed in its scope - tracking plays, statistics of wins/losses, best final girl, worst killer, most played location and with which combo etc. Having the ability to add Signature Actions and Ultimate Die etc is excellent. I’ve also purchased the S1 add on ‘Gruesome Deaths / Lore’ etc (despite owning the books) as the app tracks your victim deaths and offers a random ‘gruesome death’ text or ‘Terror Card’ death depending on the situation, automatically, making for a seamless gaming experience and a very quick way to add additional flavour and depth. If I had one suggestion, it would be to add a button that shows the ‘Round Summary’. Excellent job. ### 5/5 — A must have. *2024-08-13* I bought the app after my first few games of Final Girl, along with both the deaths/scenarios packs, and now I can’t imagine playing Final Girl without it. It’s great having various statistics to look over, and I love being able to get a Girl/Killer/Location combo I’ve never tried before with just the press of a few buttons. The scenarios add so much replayability to a game that is already immensely replayable, and it’s handy having the gruesome deaths come up on screen rather than having to flick through a booklet. So this app was totally a game changer for me, being able to pull all the rules from all the different sets in one place has definitely sped things up while playing! I always love to be immersed in my games, playing a little background music while I’m getting shredded by the game lol … So it was great to see how easy I could pull the different kill scenarios for the victims for each specific scenario that would incur in the game, was really an amazing touch to bring the whole game to life!
