## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — VERY DISAPPOINTED!😡🤬👎👎👎👎👎

*2022-05-12, version 3.4.1*

Claims to be totally free at first. You download the app for a specific exam and then to get more you have to pay. Shocker. Also comes with annoying ads. Shocker #2. Also study material limited to the same borrowing over the top difficult questions. I have taken the real exam and the questions are straight forward and not difficult if you know the material. VERY DISAPPOINTED.

### 1/5 — This app is a scam

*2022-04-19, version 3.3.0*

Just took the SIE and failed do NOT buy this app I’m going save you time and money look else where this isn’t it. I studied for 3 months and still failed my experience with prometric questions were completely different there was only 2-3 questions similar definitely don’t recommend this app. You will fail if you just study this.

### 1/5 — Do NOT use!! Series 66 answers are not right

*2021-12-21, version 3.0.1*

I suggested this app to my husband because it was great when I studied for my PMP. However, he said he couldn’t use it because the answers (and explanations) had nothing to do with the questions. The answer’s explanation he showed talked about annuities and the question was about something else entirely. He mentioned that there were several questions that had that issue.

### 1/5 — Can’t even access app

*2021-01-02, version 2.0.2*

Extremely frustrating when you can’t even access the app because the access code sent to your email is “invalid” when entered into the app. Literally copied and pasted. 😒

### 2/5 — have wrong answers

*2022-11-01, version 3.6.3*

preferred stock pays out quarterly on participating and clearly not updated on this app. update to 2022 answers. go with pass perfect or stc

### 2/5 — Negative Review

*2021-03-08, version 2.1.1*

Just took the series 65 and failed with a score of 70. Prior to taking the exam and was getting 90%+ on these practice exams. I feel this program is decent at best at preparing you for the exam. Maybe 30 of the 140 questions were somewhat familiar in the exam.

### 2/5 — Dang it

*2020-10-08, version 1.7.2*

I used to have this app before the upgrade. I just lost a lot of respect for this app. I answered a few questions on the practice quizzes and got them wrong. So I went to research and went back to the questions, they were actually right. I don’t know how creditable the information is. Sorry. But I need something that isn’t going to make me thing twice about the right answer. Hope this helps.

### 2/5 — Series 7 Prep - look elsewhere

*2020-09-18, version 1.7.0*

Outdated, poorly written. Has not been updated to include simple changes like T + 2 settlement time, not to mention spelling errors galore. Some questions have the same answer twice, and sometimes that’s even the right answer. It would be forgivable if this wasn’t essentially a $20+ app

### 2/5 — Questions did not match exam

*2020-06-17, version 1.4.1*

I love the app and style and used it non stop for a month to study! I took the Series 65 in June 2020 and the questions on the exam were not the same. I failed the exam and would not purchase this unless they do an update to the questions for the Series 65.

### 3/5 — The questions are easier than the real ones

*2022-12-08, version 3.6.6*

it’s a good service, and can help get your feet wet with the subject, but right out the gate it’s obvious that the questions are much simpler than the ones really on the exam.

I am studying for the CFP exam, and anyone who has taken the courses knows that most questions on the exam are very layered (multiple right answers, detailed wording, paragraph-long questions, etc). A part of the CFP exam is simply learning how to answer these complex questions as most of them are very long winded, detailed, and intricate. they try to trip you up.

right out the gate, it’s obvious that the questions provided in the test bank are much more simplified. none are layered in any way. it is an unrealistic example for exam preparedness.

This can be super damaging to someone who only uses this as their test bank, and i don’t think pocket prep is clear enough with this.

overall, for the price that it’s at, it’s reasonable, i guess. on the verge of not worth it though. but the main value is recalling high-level topics and additional accessibility by having a great UX app always available. the questions themselves? no bueno.

## Most praised reviews (8 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — CFP Crash Prep

*2021-02-19, version 2.1.1*

As someone who went to multiple training classes for CFP Exam- I love this app. It’s quick, efficient and keeps you on your toes. It asks you questions from a different angle, than what you are used too. I totally recommend it.

### 5/5 — Not up to date! Rip off!

*2020-10-10, version 1.7.2*

It’s not up to date in light of the SECURE Act, Tax Cuts and Jobs Act, etc. Please advise!

### 5/5 — Passed SIE Exam

*2020-09-11, version 1.7.0*

Great app, hundreds of questions about all Topics! Good way to study and practice your learnings! I passed the SIE first try using it. Did the 670 questions 1.5x.
Thank you.

### 5/5 — New App

*2020-05-15, version 1.3.0*

I was using this app to study for the CFP exam, when they released the new version it was a major upgrade! Very user friendly with a lot of great questions and practice quizzes. It’s something I visit everyday. Well done.

### 4/5 — Quick and easy

*2023-02-22, version 3.6.8*

The quizzes are short and easy to read with great explanations for incorrect answers. The quizzes are by no means easy but the process is. Great product.

### 4/5 — Typos

*2021-04-15, version 2.1.2*

Math equations and typos can be double checked

### 3/5 — Passed my 65 on first try

*2021-04-24, version 2.1.2*

This app is well thought out and slick to use however the questions in the all are very high level. The acru test is very in depth. I used Kaplan as my primary source and this as a back up. The questions were more similar to Kaplan’s than this. This will at least make sure you have a high level understanding of the test material but don’t go into it thinking that doing well on this will give you a pass on the real test.

### 3/5 — Questions need some more rigor and research

*2020-10-23, version 1.7.2*

Vast majority of questions are quality content but several questions have outdated answers for 2020 CFP(r) exam cycles. They were responsive on correcting one of the answers and amended the bank but have been slow to respond to recent inquiries. If you use their content, then it would be helpful to pair it with more robust study materials and do your own research
