## What is Financial Payment Tracker?

Take control of your debt, without connecting a single bank account.

Financial Payment Tracker is a privacy-first app for managing credit card, loan, and mortgage payments. You enter only what you want to track: balances, APR, and due dates. No account numbers, no bank logins, no data ever leaves your device (unless you choose to sync with your own iCloud).

WHAT YOU CAN DO

• Track multiple accounts: credit cards, auto loans, personal loans, student loans, mortgages, all in one place.

• Log payments and charges manually and watch your balance update with every entry.

• Never miss a due date: set smart payment reminders and the app notifies you a few days before each payment is due.

• Plan your payoff with Avalanche or Snowball strategies. See exactly which account to attack first, how much interest each strategy saves, and the month you'll be completely debt-free.

• Track your savings goals alongside your debt, see your full financial picture in one app.

• Export your payment history as a PDF statement or Excel-compatible CSV, perfect for budgeting reviews or sharing with a financial advisor.

• View a monthly bar chart of all payments at a glance on the History tab.

• Add a home screen widget to see your next payment due without opening the app.

• Pair with your Apple Watch for a read-only companion showing upcoming payments and a watch face complication with a due-date countdown.

• Lock the app behind Face ID or Touch ID so your financial data stays private even if someone picks up your phone.

• Optionally sync across all your Apple devices with iCloud, all stored in your own private iCloud database, never on our servers.

PRIVACY BY DESIGN

Most finance apps require you to connect your bank and hand over your login credentials. Financial Payment Tracker never asks for any of that. Every number you enter stays on your device. We have no servers, no analytics, and no advertising. That's it.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.8.3(16) — 2026-07-19

Settings, Streamlined: Set your reminder time right from Settings, with a cleaner, more consistent layout throughout.

More Reliable iCloud Sync: Fixed an issue where iCloud sync could silently fail to keep your accounts up to date across devices. If iCloud sync can't complete, you'll now see a clear message explaining why, instead of a generic error.

### 1.8.2(15) — 2026-06-27

This update focuses on reliability:

• More dependable iCloud sync
• Fixed notification settings for payment reminders
• Apple Watch: the Next Payment complication now updates automatically
and shows a clean "no payments due" state instead of a misleading alert

Thank you for using Financial Payment Tracker.

### 1.8(13) — 2026-05-25

Visual Overview: The home screen is now a financial dashboard. An Account Breakdown donut chart shows your debt split by type (credit cards, loans, mortgage) plus a green
"Paid & Available" slice. A Savings Breakdown donut chart shows your savings split by account. Upcoming payments are listed below, sorted soonest-due first with color-coded
urgency indicators.

Monthly vs Extra Payment: When you log a payment, the app now asks whether it's your regular Monthly Payment or an Extra Payment. Monthly payments automatically advance
your next due date; extra payments reduce your balance without touching the due date.

Mortgage Display: When you carry a mortgage, the Accounts tab banner shows your consumer debt as the headline figure with your mortgage balance shown separately below,
so your non-mortgage debt picture is always clear.

Paid & Available: The green slice in the Account Breakdown chart is labeled "Paid & Available" to reflect both paid-off progress and available credit headroom.

Real-Time Updates: The Upcoming Payments list refreshes automatically whenever a due date changes, without requiring an app restart.

Safety Dialog: Tapping Paid Off or Archived on an account that still carries a balance now shows a confirmation prompt before changing the status.

Settings Gear Icon: Settings has moved from the tab bar to a gear icon, in the top-right corner of the Overview screen. The tab bar is now a clean five-tab row: Overview, Accounts, Debt Plan, Savings, and History, with no overflow "More" menu.

Loan Maturity Date: Loan and mortgage accounts now have an optional "Loan Term" section in Add/Edit Account. Toggle on "Specify Loan Maturity Date" and choose the
month and year your loan is contractually paid off, up to 40 years out to support 40-year mortgages. The Debt Plan shows your stated maturity date as the primary date
alongside the financial estimate.

CD / Certificate of Deposit: A new CD savings category lets you track certificates of deposit alongside your other savings. Enter the APY and maturity date, and the account detail screen shows a live countdown: how many months until your CD matures, turning green once it has matured and funds are available.
