You see articles from “Yesterday” all the way back to “4 weeks ago”. I get really sick of seeing the same headlines weeks on end, no way is the world THAT static... come on. There is no search function, so you can’t find any article you may have seen on the National Post app (which btw one would think you could view on that app but you can’t). Even during the massive sell off this past year, this app was not updating at all. Until they seriously look at improving the functionality of this app steer clear. ### 1/5 — The Captains Son *2020-03-11* App doesn’t even work. ### 1/5 — National Post and Financial Post Crashing *2020-01-26* Since the last update both of these apps crash every time. Why do these problems still arise? I have no similar problems with BBC, CBC, G&M or NPR. Its lame. ## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — Strong update *2017-07-09, version 4.0.2* I'm not entirely sure why they unbundled this section and it took me a few weeks to find it but this app is solid and the content is second to none. I would appreciate some extra meta data such as date published and the authors name on the article before I decide to read it. Suggestions: 1. Why not bring in social proof from Twitter oauth to show who of my circle is reading the article? It could differentiate this product and spur conversations. 2. Send a push notification or use a smart banner/ad units to alert users of the main app that this one exists. ### 5/5 — Excellent App *2017-06-30, version 4.0.1* Actually, both the new National Post and Financially Post Apps are excellent, even if now separated. Complainers should take their time to adapt to the Apps. Navigation is easy via the main menu plus the sub menus. Many investors are only interested in the Financial Post and can now access a much more detailed App dedicated only to business, investment, and market issues. Others are interested in everything else including National and International News, Editorial, Sports, Arts, etc all of which is easily accessible in the detailed National Post App. Give it a decent try, much improved experience in either area of interest, Financial Post or National Post. ### 3/5 — Please add more smaller fonts size.
