For example, “witch hat” should be an option. Choices are too limited. This app does this.in Albums. However, I can’t see a way to do that in the whole photo collection -it may do I by default, but I can’t see a way to change what it sorts by (ascending/descending, date, name, when taken/modified, etc.).Apart from that, I like it. ### 3/5 — Great idea but lacking updates *2024-07-22, version 4.0.2* Came across this app by accident and it looked different to other photo organiser app. I specifically liked the idea of being able to automatically create “smart” albums utilising AI by searching objects, colours and text. Sadly, what sounded to good to be true turned out to be exactly that. It is very slow to run especially when trying to intelligently scan and index my photos / videos and even after a few days of periodically letting it run, it still hadn’t produced anything “smart”. It was also draining my battery and resources so I had to uninstall. I checked the app after uninstalling and can see that there hasn’t been any update in over a year so perhaps it would work better if it was updated to the latest iOS software but who knows as it seems the app developer has given up on this project which is a shame as it stood out as unique from the rest. I rate it a generous 3/5 for the innovative idea and because it runs offline but it loses 2 stars due to the fact that it’s unusable especially if you have a large amount of data to process, the app interface isn’t very user-friendly and the layout needs improving and because it is very resource intensive when scanning which causes your phone to become painfully slow. It also crashes frequently. If you only have a small amount of photos/videos on your phone then give it a try; it might work better with less data to scan but for me it’s too clunky. ### 4/5 — Some improvements needed *2023-05-27, version 4.0.2* Experience some laggy behaviour on a 14 pro after searching. There’s no double-tap to zoom, which is a must for photo apps like this. But more annoyingly, there are issues with the text scanning. It constantly froze, mostly on anime pics. I had to manually skip or ignore dozens of photos in order for it to properly finish the process. If that can be fixed and tap-to-zoom is implemented, this would be my go-to! ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Useless *2026-05-30, version 4.0.2* Simple searches yield no results. A smart album, for Screenshots, returned a mess of photos that met and did not meet the criterion. ### 1/5 — Doesn’t work *2025-11-30, version 4.0.2* The object detection may as well be a random guess. Even simply things like car or dog it finds barely any and most of the finds are totally unrelated. Takes forever to scan and then still gets them wrong . Useless until fixed. ### 1/5 — I updated and features were removed *2023-03-22, version 4.0.2* I used this app regularly to scan for dairy ingredients when buying groceries, today I decided to update the app and the camera was removed as was the lists of allergens! I'm sure the app has a lot of functionality for other users now but it's not at all what I used it for. This is why I never update things. ### 1/5 — Fourth update on crashing latest version *2022-11-29, version 3.0.4* Well, it used to be a great app, but this newest update will not run on iOS 16.0.2 (iPhone 11). The app crashes instantly and won’t open. I tried deleting and reinstalling with the same result. Update: The developer promised an update/fix would be available this week. The update (v3.0.1) still crashes instantly on open. I’m still hoping it will be fixed. It used to be a really useful app. Update 2: Developer says he’s on it again and working on fix and has restored access to a previously working version. I’m adding two more stars to my review for an app that doesn’t even work yet simply because the dev is really responsive. Once the app even works again, I’ll add more stars. Update 3. The latest update (v3.0.2) is still instacrashing on iPhone 11 (iOS 16.1.1) and thus I’m giving up on it and downgrading my rating to 1 star again. I’d give it less if I could since the app just won’t work. Never has. Update 4. I'm starting to feel like Charlie Brown with Lucy and the football. Like a sucker, I fell for the promise of 3.04 fixing the crash and tried reinstalling the latest update. If anything, it just crashes faster on iOS 16.1.1. It's working ok on iPadOS. ### 1/5 — Update ruined it *2022-10-10, version 3.0.0* I'm so upset, this was an amazing app for using your camera to scan ingredient lists to find allergies. I sent it to my sister who has Celiac disease and she was SO excited to use it to find gluten free products and I was using it to find dairy in products. But they just updated to some completely different type of app, I can't find the dairy and gluten lists and it's completely useless now. You had a REALLY dope concept going on and y'all completely ruined it, I'm telling my mom and sister to uninstall it.
