Regarding the radar's behavior, it is possible the scanning function was not initiated, which would cause the screen to remain static. If scanning is active on the Radar Screen via the START SCAN option, devices will change in visibility on the map and signal strength will update dynamically on the List Screen. START SCAN is available from the Main Screen, the Radar Screen, the List Screen, and the Single Device Search Screen. The radar feature is intended to be used as a visual aid and as a supplement to the device list. Bluetooth signal accuracy is not absolute and can vary according to environmental factors such as physical obstructions, signal interference from other electronics, and hardware variance between different devices.
