We were vacationing in the Upper Peninsula in Michigan when I lost my brand new Oura ring.  I figured it was gone forever. We were in the middle of the woods. No phone signals. The rings app itself was having a hard time connecting to it. After watching a YouTube video I learned this app existed and thought I would at least try it. Again, we were in the middle of the woods but the app
downloaded and connected to my ring almost immediately.  It took about an hour of walking slowly around our rustic campsite but we found it! Oura rings apparently emit a very weak signal so be patient. Especially in the woods. If you are wondering if its worth the download and the $4.99 fee, yes! $5 vs $499.99 for a new ring. Id say so!
