## What is Find My Seidla?

Find My Seidla is a directory of Franconian brewing culture: breweries, beer cellars, inns and beer gardens across Franconia, every house with the page it stands on. No ratings, no paid places.

MAP AND HOUSES
• Every house with the sign for what it is, and how we know
• House pages with address and opening status
• The directory works without a network

FESTIVALS AND TAPPINGS
• Kirchweih, cellar festivals and Bock tappings with dates

FRÄNKI
• Ask, and be answered in Franconian

SCANNERS
• Bottle scanner: read a bottle and see who brewed it
• Seidla scanner: see in the camera where the cellars and inns around you are

LEARN
• Beer styles, glasses and mugs, Franconian food
• Franconian: words and rules, to listen to
• News from Franconia

TOURS AND TRAILS
• Your own tours, routes, waymarked beer walks and every town in Franconia

POSTS AND FRIENDS
• With an account: posts with a photo, a house and a beer, for your friends only, and "Bassd scho" as the answer

Your location stays on the device. Google's map and text recognition run only once you agree.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.1.1 — 2026-10-14

The bookmark on the page of a brewery, beer cellar or tavern now shows at once that you have saved the place. And photos from your friends that your phone has loaded before appear within a moment, even when our server is slow to answer.

### 1.1.0 — 2026-10-13

New: Find My Seidla now runs on iPad and on Android tablets. On the large screen the navigation sits at the side, text and lists keep a comfortable reading width, the beer styles show more columns, and the app turns with you, portrait or landscape. On a tablet the Seidla Finder opens straight as a list.

### 1.0.6 — 2026-10-12

New: a light look. Under Settings choose "Like the phone", "Light" or "Dark". The map follows. Also: buttons say when something is still missing (a tour title, a question for Fränki, a user name), the locate button shows that it is searching, and Fränki no longer mistakes ordinary words for place names.

### 1.0.5 — 2026-10-11

Fränki now says at the start of every conversation that it is an AI assistant, not a person, and the same stands next to its name. Anyone who asks whether Fränki is a person gets the same answer.

### 1.0.4 — 2026-10-08

The Seidla Scanner is now called Seidla Finder, and on phones without a compass it reliably shows its list.
Distances, dates and seasons now appear in the language you chose.
The app now asks before you sign out.
Plus smaller fixes.
