I bought this for my phone which doesn’t work because you need your phone to alarm the device (logical). 

Also same issue as previous reviewer where it just randomly bleeps unless turned off

Per suonare quando il dispositivo si allontana funziona, anche se non è proprio immediata nell’accorgersene (se un prende o corre, tempo che inizia a suonare il tizio è già alla fine della via..).
La pecca forse più grossa è che la notifica (ovviamente l’app funziona solo se lasciata aperta..) non viene replicata su Apple Watch, non so per quale strano motivo, e quindi se si ha il telefono in posti in cui la suoneria si sente poco, non si sente l’allarme.

1). The main reason this app and the associated trackers are complete garbage is that in order to use it you absolutely must keep the app open at all times on your phone if you ever want to use the tracker.  The moment you shut down the app, it loses connectivity to the tracker and the tracker starts beeping until you physically shut it down. So you’re expected to keep the app running 24/7 draining your battery and wasting all that energy just to possibly use the tracker at a later date.  It’s complete nonsense.  

2) when you lose connectivity to the tracker it starts beeping, and this is Bluetooth so unless you intend on staying within 30 ft of the tracker at all times, it’s physically impossible to prevent the thing from beeping constantly, persistently, annoyingly.  

3) It doesn’t matter what you change in the settings, nothing stops the beeping on disconnect.  And the cherry on top of the BS Sunday?  Even less than 6 inches away from the tracker, it repeatedly over and over disconnects for absolutely no reason causing the thing to beep beep beep like a drunk R2D2 never shutting up.  Run away from this fast as you can! 𝚁𝚄𝙽 𝚁𝚄𝙽 𝙵𝙰𝚁 𝙵𝙰𝚁 𝙰𝚆𝙰𝚈!

First of all, it’s not user error.  It’s the manufacturer.  Randomly alarms.  Tries to connect to things it shouldn’t.  Won’t show its movement on the map.  I understand it only works within a certain range, but guess what, it doesn’t even do that.

This device will start beeping when you don’t want it to go into alarm. It happens when you are right next to the device when it looses a connection with your phone. It also alarms when you separate a short distance from the device or dim your phone.

The device should only go into alarm when you press alarm and you get close enough for your phone to reconnect with the device.

App is clunky. Hardware is not cheap, got what I payed for, I guess. The alarm is not audible enough. If it was attached to your keys, for instance, and they were under a light blanket, there is no sound emitted.

I thought it would be cool it was half the price of tile but it isn’t.  It connected the first time but when I tried to connect remotely after disconnecting to find my keys it refused to connect! Put in the extra money for a tile ! I hate to give bad reviews but this doesn’t work

It is so bad I would like to give it zero stars but I cannot so I will give it one. Worst app I have ever used. Absolutely terrible. Not functional whatsoever. I am so sorry to have wasted my hard earned pennies on these useless tags. I am ready to throw tomatoes!

We bought this a few years ago but never used it. We now have a need to use it but it doesn’t do it’s job. I tried it out while it was on the table next to my phone - a minute later the alarm went off. The tracker does not work, but I wish it did.

Directions for which app to download are unclear. Which batteries to use are unclear also which way to load the battery. I tried all the different combos and can’t get the light to go on nor can I get it to pair, what is my best guess of which app to use.

Instructions not clear. Unable to connect until I realised the battery that came with it didn’t work. Once connected, the device keeps beeping, which would drive a pet berserk if left on their collar (and drain the battery needlessly). No point turning tag off if you need to find pet later on. Maximal range is 12-15 m, who loses a pet within that distance? Unless m stands for miles instead of meters. I will have to play around with this device for a while before I use it to locate anything.

I bought two of these neither works, further after downloading the app, these would not even see my devices and I live in an area with great Internet and Wi-Fi. Don’t bother.

I think that elfi is excellent. I have it on my car keys and it’s always accurate when you check the location. I’m pleased and I've had it for a couple of months now. Well worth the money!

I don’t know why there are so many poor reviews. I think maybe competitive suppliers have paid users to give negative feedback; that’s the only solution that makes sense. I set the tile up in about 10 seconds. The alarm works great. This is an awesome alternative to the expensive tile trackers. I highly recommend it.

Got my iTag from Wish for £1 today. Found & downloaded app from iTunes with no problems. Followed instructions to sync the tag to the app, quick & easy. Able to rename the tag, add a picture, change the alarm tone easily. Even switched the Map to Google Maps. 
All done within 15 minutes & I’m able to alarm tag & cancel within a couple of touches. 
Now to see how long it all works. 
Only tiny negative, app sees my other Bluetooth devices like Sennheiser Bluetooth headphones, got excited that it said I could alarm, but nothing happens. If it worked I would have been really surprised. 
Look out for further feedback as I continue with the app & tag

All low ratings for operator error (a.k.a being stupid) this app and product works great for finding keys AND cellphone! As long as you have one or the other you can most certainly find the missing one of the pair. It’s range isn’t crazy good I’d say American measurement translation like 20-30 ft and the more walls blocking the trajectory of the signal the less likely it’ll work BUT an easy fix for that is to just use the app or key chain item in each room and it’ll work 100% guaranteed. You do have to mess with the settings (I should say one setting) to make it not beep every time it’s out of range. But besides that it works flawlessly. The keychain detector itself seems very flimsy and weak I haven’t had it long so it could break from being smashed or sat on or dropped but I’ll try to edit post if it does break from normal use, but what do you expect for paying 4$?
