### 5/5 — Very Useful

*2018-03-30, version 5.0.3*

It’s one of those apps that saves you in the time of need ... keep it aside and forget about it ... it’s very very useful when the time comes to need it... which I hope it doesn’t

### 4/5 — Great idea

*2018-01-05, version 5.0.2*

As a paramedic making long distance transfers with critical patients this app has great potential. Please include phone numbers for the ER. Please include Helicopter availability.
In my area I found 1 stand alone ER(not attached to a hospital) that has been closed for 6 months and 2 free standing ER’s not indicated on map. Differentiating between hospital ER and stand alone ER would be nice..

### 4/5 — Very good!

*2017-08-20, version 5.0.2*

As long as you're within range of your data network, this app is incredible. It provides peace of mind while traveling, especially for those with potentially life-threatening conditions. The developer updates it regularly and responds to feedback. Very good!

### 5/5 — Great for EMS

*2017-08-14, version 5.0.2*

I use this at work almost every day for my job at a private ambulance and it works great. Makes life a lot easier.

### 5/5 — Extremely helpful

*2017-05-31, version 5.0.1*

Great app. It does exactly what it says it will do. Well done!

### 5/5 — Great Resource for Parents

*2017-05-12, version 5.0.1*

I downloaded this app before taking my kids on vacation. My baby's temp spiked to 105 at 3am while we were at a hotel and I was able to quickly look up the closest ER. I'm so glad I had this on my phone already. This is a valuable resource for any parent. It's also simple to use.

### 5/5 — Useful, A Must For Parents

*2017-05-02, version 5.0.1*

Very useful. The app has all of the hospitals by me. I would recommend it to everyone but especially to parents.

### 5/5 — Great app!

*2017-04-29, version 5.0.1*

What a great idea for an app! Nice to find a hospital while traveling, especially with kids in the event of an emergency and have the directions to get there. All parents and grandparents should have this!!

### 5/5 — App everyone should have!

*2017-04-05, version 5.0*

Love the new features! As a mom of two toddlers with food allergies, the addition of pediatric information gives me that extra peace of mind, especially when we travel. Thank you!

### 5/5 — 👍👍

### 5/5 — Great App

Very useful app, especially when traveling in unfamiliar areas. Provides peace of mind, esp when traveling with kids or elderly relatives.

### 4/5 — Updates?

*2016-07-12, version 4.3*

Great app. Would love to see filter options for burn centers, levels of trauma centers, cath labs, et cetera. Otherwise, good stuff!

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Woefully incomplete

*2026-06-07, version 8.0*

This app doesn’t show a single ER in San Diego county. The app says it was updated in the past year, so I’m wondering if it’s not following the Apple developer guidelines to request permission to use your location. It shows the a blue dot on the map, but never prompts for when to allow access to your location.

### 1/5 — Horrible

*2020-11-02, version 6.0.3*

The FIRST thing you should easily see is the closest ER followed by capabilities and a PHONE NUMBER! I may have missed it but I did not see the phone or address If they are there, they are too hard to find. Imagine looking in a crisis! No offense but truly horrible

### 1/5 — Lousy!

*2012-06-15, version 2.3*

I'm an EMT in Los Angeles and I downloaded this app more out of curiosity than anything else. I tried looking up several ER's and not one was correct.

For example, one of the most important hospitals in LA is Cedars Sanai Medical Center. The app showed the ER to be on Bervely blvd...wrong! Not even the main entrance to the hospital is there. The ER entrance is on Gracie Allen Dr. And the Ambulance ER entrance is on S George Burns RD.

Another major hospital in the LA area is Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center. Not only is this hospital a major hospital in the LA area, it's also world known. Yet, this app shows the ER to be on Le Conte Ave and Tiverton Ave. That used to be the entrance to the ER but years ago it was changed to the new hospital building on Charles E Young Dr. Not even close.

This app does no better than searching for hospitals in Google Maps.

I can't say this is true for all over the country, but here in LA it leaves a lot to be desired.

### 3/5 — Google Maps & Trauma Level

*2026-03-01, version 8.0*

Please work with Google Maps versus Apple Maps, Google Maps is a much better product and works with both Apple and Android users.

Add a Trauma Rating to the overview screen, showing L1, L2, etc.

Thank you!

### 3/5 — Has great potential, BUT....

*2015-01-07, version 4.1*

it requires your Location Services to be on to find an ER (????) If you happen to be in an area with no cell service or access to wifi this app won't be helpful. Please fix it to allow you to manually put in an address or location without needing location services or wifi or a signal. Also, in the list of hospitals it would be helpful to put down the address and a phone number. The location of fire/rescue/EMS/police stations would be a real bonus too. A great idea with a good start, but needs some work.

### 3/5 — Useful... Needs more specifics

*2014-09-09, version 4.1*

Good app. The auto-notification that shows the nearest ER and prompts to ask if you want directions is fast and convenient. The overall map view is also a nice feature. Cons: the "info" sections for hospitals that you select simply pull from the headline of the Google search for that facility. That information is 98% useless because it is generally Google reviews or the Hospital's front web page statement, such as "we are committed to excellence in patient service", "rated in the top 50 hospitals of" who cares. When an app like this is needed, I highly doubt people are splitting review hairs between 3.5 and 4 star rated hospitals. What is NEEDED is capability. The info "i" should display whether the facility is a trauma center, or can accept medivac landings, etc. I know this is more work than pulling directly from Google, but if this app doesn't do it, some other one eventually will. If this can't be done then there should at least be a space to save notes about facilities and/or save favorite facilities. Good start, hopefully it will improve.

### 3/5 — Great Start

*2014-01-04, version 3.1.2*

This is a great start to finding the closest hospital in MA. A great addition would be to show info about what level trauma center they are and what types of Dr's/Staff they have and the hours they are there. It could save time and aggrivation if you went directly to the appropriate facility and not just the closest one.

### 3/5 — Only local?

*2011-07-08, version 2.0*

Wish u could pan to another location nd then refresh to load ERs in THAT area. Would help when searching for ER's around the country. Ie) when looking for new ERs to work at..

### 3/5 — International Version?

*2011-06-13, version 2.0*

This is a great idea, but it is far less useful than an international version would be. A reliable and effective ambulance system exists in the US, but that is not true in most other parts of the world. I would really like to have an international version of this app.

### 4/5 — Please include/update specialty hospitals

*2018-08-19, version 5.0.5*

I love this app as an EMT. What would make it better would be knowing which hospitals specialize in burns or lvl 1 trauma etc. there is an option for it, but it is not accurate. Thanks!

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Great when far from home

*2024-07-14, version 7.0.6*

Was playing golf in Vermont when my playing partner developed stroke-like symptoms. I was unfamiliar with area and went to FindERNow and saw that the closest hospital with a stroke team was Dartmouth Hitchcock and we were able to get her there in time to get TPA. Everyone should have this app!

### 5/5 — Easy to Navigate!

*2023-07-03, version 7.0.4*

When I discovered this app, I knew that it would be a must have. Not only is it useful for those in healthcare, it is equally as useful to families and individuals alike. This app is handy, and it provides helpful information that may be life saving at a times notice. I recommended this to one of the families that I care for, and she was extremely glad that an app like this exists. I love the pediatric feature - it helps you become aware of the most appropriate hospitals near you to treat children - which is different than adult care! Easily will stay in my emergency folder, to use at any moment’s notice!

### 5/5 — Great Resource for All

*2023-07-03, version 7.0.4*

Great app for everyone! It provides info about ERs I can’t find on Google so I’m very glad this app exists!

### 5/5 — Extremely helpful app to have on hand!

*2022-08-25, version 7.0.1*

Contains a lot of helpful information and is easy to navigate! Especially great to see info on pediatric emergency care available in a centralized platform, considering my young niece. Appreciate all the efforts to keep the information on this app accurate and up-to-date, a useful app for everyone to have!

### 5/5 — Amazing app!

*2022-08-18, version 7.0.1*

I’d highly recommend this app to anyone! It’s especially useful for those working in EMS, or anyone traveling to new places in the country. It’s very reliable and I’ve yet to find any other app that even comes close to this one.

### 5/5 — A must have app!

*2022-05-17, version 7.0*

This app is great and one that everyone should have on their phone. Especially since the start of the pandemic, more people are traveling now and many ERs have changed. It is great to see where the closest ERs are and what capabilities they have while traveling!

### 5/5 — Better than Google!

*2021-08-27, version 6.0.3*

This app is extremely useful. I love that it shows you all types of emergency facilities that are nearby, even those not attached to a hospital. It made me feel a lot safer traveling in areas of the US I have never been to before. This app shows the closest ED by driving time, which is sometimes a better gauge than distance.

### 5/5 — Very helpful app!!

*2019-04-15, version 6.0.1*

I used this app when I was visiting family during the winter holiday and had to go to the ER! It displayed very helpful information about the ER closest to us. Since my family lives somewhat in the middle of nowhere, having an app that tells you where the closest options are in an emergency is a necessity.

### 5/5 — Absolutely Must Have

*2018-12-23, version 6.0.0*

This app saves lives. We were on vacation in an unknown city far from home. A family member was having a serious allergic reaction to sunscreen. Breathing became difficult. This app showed us several ER’s in the area and we got to one and after being treated aggressively tragedy was avoided.
This has saved lives. All of our family members have it on their phones.
You’ll be glad you have it when you need it.

### 5/5 — Very practical app!

*2018-05-10, version 5.0.4*

Informative, easy to navigate, and an important resource especially for traveling out of town!
