I downloaded this app because I was in a positive psychology class, and I just in general struggle with focusing.  Mind you I do have ADHD but I thought the answer was meds cause I’ve tried other methods that haven’t worked. Now I realize that maybe meds weren’t the answer and this app helps me see that I could focus if I knew how and practiced it. To be fair, I did think this app wasn’t going to do anything at first but while you’re not paying attention, your brain is learning new ways to think and exist.

The focus coach helps me get my homework done. I can concentrate better with it. Used to get pulled into TikTok and it felt like my hw took forever, but now I can just lock in. Maybe add more soundtracks if you can? I’ve listened to them all a lot lol. Thanks

It would be great if the focus coach timer could have a setting to NOT stop the timer when switching to another app, when I’m working I constantly have to check things in my phone, this doesn’t mean I’m getting distracted, is just my workflow & I can’t do it any other way.

It would also help to have live activities / Lock Screen feature :)

**Developer response:** Thank you for the feedback! We really appreciate your support and suggestions. Working in other apps while using the Focus Coach is a common use case. In order to help users avoid tempting distractions, we don't currently have plans to support this for mobile devices. However, we do support split-screen while using the Focus Coach on a tablet. Another option for your workflow could be to use the Focus Coach on a computer via our website, findingfocus.app. We've even built a picture-in-picture feature for supporting web browsers. Hope this helps!

I have ADHD and get distracted all the time. This app is a game changer. The course taught me how to have more control over my mind, and the focus coach helps me get my hw done 10x faster. Highly recommend.

I like everything about this app. The 10 day course is cool—I liked getting introduced to new music to train my focus to. And whenever I need to get some work done, I use the focus sesh. Helps me dial in my focus and get my work done faster with less stress. Highly recommend it!

I am currently a second year Psychology Major and this app has been a great tool for me! The 10 day course was incredibly helpful to learn about tangible skills for me to practice and improve on, allowing me to better utilize my time while also feeling mentally and emotionally better about it. I also felt that it was really helpful to utilize their new Focus Sesh feature which would allow me to use all of the skills I learned during the 10 day course and apply it to real life like the school work I have to do on a daily basis! Overall I think this app was incredibly worth it, and it is so convenient that it is free for anyone to use :)
