YOUR FINGER IS THE RULER

FingerSpan is a focused map utility for measuring any line directly on the map. Tap Draw, trace a route with your finger, and see the distance update as you move.

DRAW AND MEASURE
• Draw freehand routes directly on the map
• See the measured distance update live
• Continue a completed line from its endpoint
• Trim points or undo a complete drawing section
• Convert a route to a direct line
• Choose metric, imperial, or automatic units

SNAP TO PATHS
Use Magnet to match your drawn line to nearby walkable roads and paths. FingerSpan keeps the original measurement undoable, so you can always return to it.

PREMIUM
A single lifetime purchase unlocks:
• Saved measurements with names and exact geometry
• Optional iCloud sync across your Apple devices
• JSON data export and separate local or iCloud deletion
• OpenStreetMap with Bright, Outdoors, and Smooth styles
• Outdoor places such as drinking water, picnic areas, shelters, toilets, and viewpoints when available

SIMPLE BY DESIGN
Outside drawing mode, the map behaves normally. Pan and zoom with familiar gestures. Choose System, English, or German as the app language. FingerSpan is made for quick distance checks—not turn-by-turn navigation or activity tracking.

PRIVATE
No FingerSpan account, advertising, analytics, or tracking. Active measurements remain on your device. Saved Premium measurements are local-first and are stored in your private iCloud database only when sync is enabled. Existing users choose before the first upload. You can turn sync off, export your archive, or delete its iCloud copy at any time.
