## What is FinishCam?

FinishCam turns your iPhone or iPad into a photo-finish camera for sprints. Film the finish line, then place every runner and get their time to 1/100 s. Made for school sports days, track practice and club meets.

GUN-START TIMING
The clock starts the moment the microphone hears the starting gun. No gun? Tap Manual Start when you see the smoke or flag.

SPEED-OF-SOUND CORRECTION
Sound travels about 340 m/s, so the gun reaches a phone 100 m away about 0.29 s late. Enter the distance and temperature and FinishCam adds that delay back to every time.

FRAME-BY-FRAME PHOTO FINISH
Record at up to 240 fps. After the race, step through the frames and tap a runner's name on the frame where the torso reaches the line. Times are rounded up to 1/100 s, like real photo-finish systems.

ALL 9 LANES ON ONE SCREEN
Every runner's name button is visible at once, so even a full 9-lane final is quick to judge. "Use lane numbers" fills in lanes 1–9 in one tap. Runners on the same frame are ranked in the order you tap them.

SHARE RESULTS
Share places and times as text, and save or share the finish video.

PRICING
Free for up to 3 runners per race. FinishCam Pro is a one-time purchase (no subscription) that removes the limit.

PRIVACY
Video and audio are processed only on your device and never uploaded. No ads, no tracking.

FinishCam is not an official timing system. Use it for practice and school events.
