### 4/5 — Great game. Needs to be available to all.

*2026-02-23, version 1.1.8*

This game is definitely on of my favorite games I found on mobile. Not many are good, it’s a shame that I won’t be able to play this once my free trail of Apple Arcade is up, I would pay to play this without a subscription.

### 4/5 — Toggle visual effects?

*2026-01-15, version 1.1.8*

Fun puzzle game but I wish there's a way to turn off the screen shaking effect (not just the sounds or haptics) when matches are made because it makes me dizzy

### 3/5 — Not casual friendly.

*2025-02-15, version 1.1.5*

I really liked this game at the start. Awesome puzzle mechanics well polished game play visuals are great.

Where this game finds fault comes quickly however. There are mechanics that make the game more difficult, such as less possible moves tiles doing different things etc. and that’s not a bad thing. However once you level up and “unlock” these difficulties they are there permanently from the beginning.

Most games that have levels you’ll start out at level 1 it’ll be super easy then level two a bit harder etc. this game once you have leveled to let’s say 5. You’re stuck with that difficulty from the beginning of every round moving foreword.

So you quintessentially start every round at the highest level of difficulty you ended at. Which makes this game almost unplayable if you achieve a really high level you get stuck at. Well restarting the round means nothing.

### 4/5 — Good

*2025-02-13, version 1.1.5*

I’ve been at plat for a while and I will admit it is a shame there is not more to see! Obviously you can’t expect the game to continue on and on forever especially since the game has been out for a long time now but I feel like there is a missed opportunity to not reuse any of the effects or themes within the tempo modes as customisations or something like that. I also understand the limitations of making things more and more complex becoming impossible but I do feel like there are plenty of interesting ideas for power ups / difficulty that could be introduced even if they may not be able used all at the same time!

### 3/5 — Mechanics

*2025-02-07, version 1.1.5*

Do other people really like games where the mechanics constantly change and there’s endless levels of points and skills and whatever else? Personally I just want to do some puzzles without 4 levels of buttons and 3 new things to learn between actual chances to play a game game.

### 5/5 — Amazing. Wish it wasn’t arcade exclusive.

*2025-02-03*

This has been my obsession for the past few weeks. I love everything from the design, to the inclusion of more mechanics as you progress. I do feel like the difficulty gets ramped up too soon. But even then, I’m just loving dumping time into this game.

However, I wish this game wasn’t exclusive to Apple Arcade. I would gladly pay to have this game permanently in my library. It’s also a bummer since my wife isn’t an Apple user, so she’s been watching me play before bed.

Also, the haptics in this game make my brain feel good.

### 5/5 — An Addictive Masterpiece – Hard to Put Down!

*2025-01-26*

Finity is an absolute masterpiece of puzzle design! The minimalist aesthetics, smooth usability, satisfying haptics, and immersive sound design make it an incredibly polished experience. The mechanics are simple to grasp but offer endless strategic depth, keeping me hooked for hours.

It’s one of those rare games that’s easy to play but tough to master, and that challenge makes every win feel rewarding. Whether I’m climbing the leaderboard or just enjoying the mesmerizing flow of moves, I find it pretty hard to put down!

Big kudos to Sebastian Gosztyla—this game is a work of genius. If you love puzzle games that test your brain and your patience in the best way possible, this is a must-play.

### 4/5 — Addictive but needs work

*2025-01-18, version 1.1.5*

I discovered this game today with my 5y old and it became addictive. Super fun! But after the first rounds you hit directly into the hard mode and you cannot process. I hope they will work on proper making the levels more smoothly harder rather than hit a wall and 0 progress for days.

### 5/5 — Best of the best

*2024-11-23, version 1.1.5*

I love everything about this game. So far I have only made it to the end of level five on classic and I’m looking forward to eventually outsmarting this game, even it it takes years!

### 3/5 — Needs work

*2024-11-15, version 1.1.5*

This is so boring I couldn't finish the long tutorial. Sorry. Just not for me. Strange thing is that I initially liked it.

### 5/5 — Супер игра

*2024-11-14*

Игра топ). Разработчики красавчики!)

### 5/5 — Great game… what’s the last achievement?

*2024-11-14, version 1.1.5*

Really good. Towards the end at platinum, around 20k, becomes too brutal :-)

### 4/5 — Game is so hard

*2024-10-11, version 1.1.3*

So every time I make a move I get it right then another move I just get stuck and I can’t do anything about it. Devs Please nerf the game. I just can’t beat iron III Sebastian just nerf its please bro just nerf it. Do not ingore me. One wrong move and I just fail its too hard. and I just love the game but its just so hard. Please like lvl 2+ checkpoint. Developer I’m been raging and I just need this game a nerf. Ok nvm I’m at bronze 1 it’s literally so long and hard, dev if you see this nerf it

### 5/5 — Love it!

*2024-10-06*

I love grid based puzzle games and this is no exception! My one qualm is that when you’re playing and you reach a new rank, it ends the game and you have to start over. I would have liked to see how many points I could’ve gotten if I’d been able to keep playing. Seems kind of counterintuitive to end the game when I was doing well. It would also be nice if you could undo moves that result in a match, and undo using special tiles, but I guess I just have to pay more attention and be aware of what my move is doing. Very fun game, I love that there’s no time limit so you have the ability to make the best moves possible. And I like the different skins, it keeps things interesting.

### 3/5 — Good game but becomes more luck than skill

*2024-09-25, version 1.1.3*

I really enjoy the game but in the later stages the mechanics overwhelm and are not paced well.

I’m at gold 2 and have made it to the final stage multiple times only to lose because of bad luck with which mechanics appear. I also think mystery blocks both appear too often and aren’t well designed.

There are also several bugs. The most annoying being where the level up phase will sometimes not count a line connecting if done too quickly.

### 3/5 — Some how fun

*2024-08-30, version 1.1.3*

While the game rules are a bit cryptic with the levels being bizarrely difficult it still manages to be mildly entertaining.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Game is too difficult and unfair

*2025-06-07, version 1.1.6*

There are few things I don’t like about this game. You cant pick if you want to pause a 3 in a row for a 4 in a row, you cant move multiple rows/columns at the same time, and you can’t undo good moves. I actually hate this game. It’s too difficult

### 1/5 — Just lost all of my progress

*2024-10-17, version 1.1.3*

This is a fun game but for some unknown reason, after being in this seemingly endless loop, I saved my progress, but there appears to be no way to restore it and I’m at level 1. Makes it kinda not fun.

### 1/5 — Needs a dark mode

*2023-11-08, version 1.0.5*

I love this game but the background changes hurt my eyes
I can’t play anymore unless there’s a dark mode skin with a static background

### 1/5 — Me2 game. There is a trillion similar games

*2023-08-25, version 1.0.1*

No fun, no nothing. Looks like a typical hyper casual game but without ads.

### 1/5 — Terrible

*2023-08-25, version 1.0.1*

I was really looking forward to this but the game won’t even load, disappointing..

### 2/5 — Way too short

*2026-03-03*

Great game, but it needs more ranks to progress through. I’ve reached the final rank in only a few hours. I don’t see the point in playing anymore.

### 2/5 — Hampered by sporadic difficulty and randomness.

*2025-06-21, version 1.1.6*

It’s not really a puzzle game at all, if we’re being honest. It’s an arcade style match three which sometimes gives you what you need, and sometimes doesn’t. It’s programmed to never ever drop you a combo, and the difficulty lies in unclear mechanics and randomness affecting tiles in random locations. Claims of strategy are overblown, given that one wrong move can lock up numerous tiles all over the board, again, seemingly at random. Sound design is top tier, I will say. Haptics as well. The game is clearly a design love letter, but needs a LOT of work in the actual game department.

### 2/5 — To harsh

*2024-02-25, version 1.1.3*

I really like the concept of this game. But when im 1 level up phase away and it says game over start again. I’ve wasted 25 minutes of my life and that is really frustrating. As soon as I get locked I can’t undo. It just says game over and there’s no restart from 1 phase away. Big big changes needed for this to ever be seen on featured.

### 2/5 — STILL Impossible to Progress after Silver II or III

*2024-01-28*

And the update with an endless mode still has locked features until you progress further in classic, which is impossible. I’m not going to frustrate myself with a game that is supposed to be an enjoyable puzzler.

The dev keeps replying to other reviews saying the same as me that they’re working on fixing it, but every update just adds new features; it does nothing to the current classic mode. The game is still impossible after only about 30 minutes of play.

Devs, you’re really shooting yourselves in the foot with this. This game is (or could be) AMAZING, but you’re ignoring the one HUGE flaw that nearly EVERY SINGLE REVIEW has pointed out, while at the same time claiming you’re fixing it, but those “fixes” end up being new “features” that are still locked by the ONE HUGE flaw!

Endless mode being added is NOT a fix for the ridiculous difficulty jump; it’s just an added feature, which ALSO gets impossible really fast. Also, endless mode should NOT have features locked by classic mode progress; that entirely defeats the purpose of what the addition of endless mode is supposedly “fixing” or “improving”.

I really WANT to like this game, which is why I keep coming back. But I keep getting disappointed. I don’t care what the devs keep saying to all these reviews about “working on the difficulty spike”; that’s obviously a lie, because we get entire new features that have nothing to do with classic. I probably won’t trust any other apps from them at this point.

(Not sure why, but I reviewed this game twice before, but those reviews vanished? At least it gave me an opportunity to re-try and re-review the game.)

### 2/5 — No silent mode

*2023-12-01, version 1.0.7*

This is a fun game but you can’t turn off the sound effects so forget about playing it in public or while listening to music. It just takes over. Infuriating.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Magic carpet

*2026-01-23, version 1.1.8*

Finity is like a tiny colorful overlord that politely orders my brain around and I love it.
The tiles slide like they’re on a magic carpet and also judging me at the same time.
I came for a quick puzzle, stayed to negotiate with squares about the meaning of life.
It’s calm, it’s cruel, it’s confusing, and somehow it makes me feel powerful.
I’ve lost track of hours, dignity, and possibly my will to leave the house.
I would recommend it to anyone who likes being humiliated by geometry.
Five stars because I can’t stop playing and I’m scared of what it knows about me.

### 5/5 — “Fun”tastic

*2025-10-03*

Minimal & fantastic.. very addictive.. Haptics, sound, Graphics everything is amazing.

**Developer response:** Thank you so much, glad you’re enjoying finity. ☺️

### 5/5 — Perfect background game

*2025-09-28, version 1.1.6*

Perfect game for watching tv/listening to podcasts. Would love to see more themes in the future, and maybe some custom app icons.

### 5/5 — Fun and satisfying

*2025-09-10*

I’m a big fan of this! I’ve been playing for a couple months and basically completed it - I’ve reached the highest possible rank in Classic and beaten all the finite modes of the Tempo mode songs. I definitely plan on playing my favorite Tempo games in infinite modes to see how high I can score!

I do have a couple of thoughts! The tiles in the Hoarfrost Tempo mode are really hard to see. I’m a bit colorblind, which doesn’t help, but it’s probably not just me. All the pale colors look very similar, so it might help to give the shapes darker outlines. I also think it would be really cool if we could unlock the ability to use Tempo color schemes when playing Classic or Casual. I’d love to be able to use the Hallows Eve or Petrichor colors on the main game!

### 5/5 — awesome!! a couple of suggestions

*2025-08-10, version 1.1.6*

super fun and strategic in a somewhat relaxing way. a few people say its very hard, and although i haven’t unlocked all the mechanics, there is a casual mode which i appreciate.

1. another reviewer stated that the changing background hurts their eyes. although the dark theme is unlockable later, there could be a setting to toggle the changing background on and off so that it’s available to beginner players too.
2. the split line on split tiles crosses through numbers less than one (numbers that aren’t filled in with white), making them harder to read.

i also had an idea for another game mode; kind of like an extension of casual. perhaps the player could toggle different mechanics they’ve unlocked on and off by clicking on icons, scrolling through a menu of tile types and powers with a “play” button at the bottom. sort of like a mix-and-match mode.

### 5/5 — Better

*2025-06-05, version 1.1.6*

This game is better than block blast and royal match combined and those are like the top two puzzle games right now. This is way better than them. This is like the best puzzle game I have ever seen ever and I have seen a lot of puzzle games. In fact, I might actually put this game on my YouTube channel.

### 5/5 — Crisp, beauteous, relaxing

*2025-04-25, version 1.1.6*

Thanks for the night mode!

### 5/5 — This game is everything that’s missing from App Store

*2025-04-13, version 1.1.6*

If you want something simple, challenging and clean ( no ads, silly side challenges, buying cheats, etc.) this is the game for you!!

### 5/5 — Игра супер

*2025-03-23*

Рекомендую всем

### 5/5 — Great need more

*2025-03-01, version 1.1.5*

Wife and i play it multiple times. Day. Weve gotten to platinum and unlocked ll the tempo infinites. We need more content please. Add a few dozen more tempo tracks and platinum 2 and 3 and then go diamond and gemstones. Thanks!
