## What is Finlay?

Finlay is a calm, offline reader for your PDFs and EPUBs, built for health science students and professionals — and simple enough for anyone who reads to learn.

READ AND MARK UP
• Open any PDF or EPUB from Files, Mail or Safari
• Highlight, write with Apple Pencil, add floating notes and a notepad
• Search, contents, go to page, and a page lock that keeps you from losing your place

STUDY, NOT JUST READ
• Exam mode: cover the answers and rationales in any question-bank PDF, answer, then check the page
• Flashcards from any selection, with spaced review
• Go Deeper: select a passage and get a detailed explanation, key points and background — generated on your device with Apple Intelligence, always quoting your page
• Read aloud with the best voice on your device
• Voice notes you dictate while reading, tidied on your device
• Focus timer and a guided breathing pause

CLINICAL BOX
• Adult lab reference values with notes on current guidance
• Time-saving calculators: IV drip rate (gtt/min), infusion pump rate (mL/h), pediatric maintenance fluids, BMI, body surface area, mean arterial pressure and unit conversions
• For study only — ranges vary by laboratory; always follow your course and facility

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
No account, no server, no ads, no tracking. Your books and notes stay on your device.

Finlay is a study tool. It does not provide medical advice and is not a substitute for professional judgment.
