I would have loved to try this app and give it a 5 star review. ### 2/5 — Bought by Templum? Forced to withdraw my investment? *2023-12-20* I invested in this app bc someone I follow on IG recommended it. A few months in, I get an email saying they are refunding my investments. I’m glad I only invested around $100, but there is sucky management of an investment platform. They couldn’t even hold my investment to maturity. I got a $5 free investment when I signed on and ended up getting about $3 more than what I initially invested as my “refund.” Severely disappointed that I wasted any time downloading this app and tying up my money for no reason. Would’ve rated 1 star, but at least I got my money back. Also, app design was decent. ### 2/5 — Can't get past verification screens *2023-02-08, version 1.0.14* After typing in my social, the app glitches and the screens won't display what info is next, so I can't verify. ### 5/5 — Easy to Use *2023-01-04* There's a few reasons I rate this app 5 stars so far. Disclaimer: I just invested and started with Fintor around 1 week ago. So these are first impressions. They give you tons of details on all the property options, so you can make an educated choice. Their support is extremely communicative, in fact, I was personally reached out to proactively by a live member of the team to ask if I had any questions so far. I did have a question and they answered right away. The user interface is very smooth and simple. I’m now awaiting more offerings to invest in. ### 5/5 — Great real estate fractional investing platform! *2023-01-03* Fintor is a great platform to get into real estate fractional investing. They have a super intuitive app, with great UI and UX, and a helpful section (“The hub”) that provides educational material and news relating to real estate. The sign-up process is seamless and the app offers various ways to connect to your bank account. I used the Plaid option and the bank connection was completed within seconds. They pay better dividends than Landa does, and there are better metrics for the properties than Landa does, and I haven’t ran into any bugs like I have with Landa. Especially being young I believe it’s a smart idea to start investing now. Fintor allows you to invest with not a lot of capital upfront, the app is simple to use and easy to understand. I really like this one. Everything seems to work as it should and they are very transparent with all the data. Also I’ve messaged customer support a few times and they were quick to respond, even on a Sunday. At least they gave people their money back. No explanation why they went under but none of the properties yielded any returns and certainly not what they claimed it would be. RIP Fintor. ### 1/5 — my money has been stuck for like a year *2023-11-19, version 1.0.27* you can’t sell any of your shares until the public offering shares sell out. there’s only 5 and i guess they can’t sell them because it’s been over a year. failure of a company do not invest. ### 1/5 — Failure! *2023-11-18, version 1.0.27* This company has had my money locked up for a year. They tell me to be patient and they are working thru the refund process. Please don’t waste your time on the this app!!! ### 1/5 — Wouldn’t recommend. Couldn’t sell it. *2023-06-20, version 1.0.25* Misleading. I cant sell after 90 days. I have to wait for investors to buy my shares then after that I have to wait 90 days before i can cash out. There is no indicator or progress to let me know. Pretty much everything is done behind the close curtain. It worth investing with this company. You better off use a different broker that you can buy and sell anytime. ### 1/5 — Broken app *2023-03-24, version 1.0.20* Can’t even use… force closes the moment you try to open… waste of time… ### 1/5 — It said my phone was invalid 😃 *2023-02-03, version 1.0.14* Right off the bat it got stuck! No good. ### 1/5 — Can’t create an account *2023-01-29, version 1.0.13* Upon entering my phone number on the signup screen, I get the error message that the number is not valid. The verification code comes to my phone as it should (because the number is correct) but I’m never directed to the verification screen to enter the code. There doesn’t seem to be any other way to sign up, which is disappointing. ### 2/5 — Suspect *2023-12-29, version 1.0.27* I gained an invite bonus stock from signing up with someone’s code just to try it out because why not right. After months of forgetting about it my account went from having a share of stock to having a 0.00 balance with no history of what happened and I can’t even delete my account under settings and when clicking “contact us” button it says “nothing to see here” so in the app I can’t even contact these jokers. Basic seen it all app that may look “good” but does nothing for you and steals and then sells your info. ## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — Best investing app *2024-08-21, version 1.0.27* Fintor is the best investing app I have used. Incredible opportunities and the support from their team is incredible. What other way can you get into real estate without a large down payment and the hassle of working with renters.
