Very frustrating service with Altafiber. Poor execution on this app. ### 2/5 — VPN & closing app *2022-04-01* Streaming is impossible with vpn on. Just advances frame by frame. Can’t swipe up on iPhone 13 Pro to close. It sounded like a good move and although the reception is better, I am quite disappointed in streaming while away from home. I was able to watch many shows on spectrum from wherever I was. So, this alone may cause me to return. Sad. ### 1/5 — Missing features *2024-04-22* Fioptics has missing features that spectrum has. Play to play and connect to other devices. Channels I pay for and see on my tv don’t show up in app, then they do. Fioptics is so expensive per month and ever increasing and they can’t even throw together a simple apple so I can watch tv in my bedroom on my iPad? I don’t need a bunch of features- just actual functionality. It’s ridiculous. ## Most praised reviews (7 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — So much better than Spectrum! *2022-11-16* This app works so much faster and is much easier to navigate through than Spectrum’s app. Also, it checks every other streaming app I have to help me find the show or movie I am searching for. Awesome! ### 4/5 — October 2024 Update *2024-10-23* Most of the changes seem good and should be easy to adapt to. The only thing I dislike so far is the elimination of the channel numbers on the guide. Personally this makes it much harder for me to know where I am in the guide. Also, the technical support link under Help brings up a ‘page not found’ error. Lastly, unless there is a technical reason that prevents its implementation I would love to be able to flip back and forth between two channels like you can on most tv remotes. ### 4/5 — Good App could use some updates more often. *2024-10-17* The new interphase update I like a lot. The only things I’ve noticed is it seems to load channels slowly and you can’t see the channel numbers anymore. When you are in guide view you can’t see channel numbers you only see the channel logo. ### 3/5 — Major Issue *2025-06-07* Can’t watch certain channels away from home. Terrible! ### 3/5 — Channel Guide *2024-10-28* One of the last updates eliminated channel numbers in the Guide. It makes the Guide practically worthless. Why would you do that? ### 3/5 — Lacking features *2023-03-08* Two key things the app needs are: 1) Picture in Picture. You can’t do anything else on your device while watching a show on this app. Your competitors have it, as do all the streaming services, so why can’t you? 2) watching more programs away from home.
