### 3/5 — Not listed

*2023-07-16, version 2.1.0*

I live in South West Oregon & there has been a large fire in Agnest, Oregon for a couple days & wanted to find specific information on this fire & nothing. So far, not impressed

### 2/5 — Not worth paying for..

*2023-07-02, version 2.1.0*

I live in an area where there are usually active fires. This app did not display the two I know were burning in my area. There is another free app that had the fires.

### 4/5 — No bueno

*2021-06-18, version 2.1.0*

I have driven past active fires, and gotten texts from others first. This does not report much and if it does, it’s all over. Not what I want. I could read the newspaper for more timely notification.

### 3/5 — Fire status

*2020-09-15, version 2.1.0*

We have had fires active for more than a week, burned homes and towns. And they don’t show up until the fire is almost out.
What good does that do?

### 3/5 — Good display, not nearly enough selections

*2020-09-13, version 2.1.0*

I like the maps. They let you know what’s happening and where. But there aren’t enough choices to focus on items or areas of interest. For examples, one cannot directly select by state or choose a distance around a city or the user’s own home or phone. Right now here in California, we have a smorgasbord of fires to choose from as topics. However, I would very much like to be able to get details between my home and San Jose so I can pick a route easily.

### 1/5 — Misses really major fires

*2020-08-27, version 2.1.0*

Totally missed - for over a week - two major fires in Santa Rosa, CA area and another in Napa, CA area. Not a real app.

### 1/5 — Useless

*2020-08-27, version 2.1.0*

Does not show fires anywhere near my area and developer does not seem to care. I paid my money and got nothing!

### 3/5 — Not kept up to date

*2020-08-22, version 2.1.0*

Does not appear to be kept up to date, so what good is it?

### 2/5 — Great potential but needs work on updates

*2020-08-20, version 2.1.0*

This app has an easy to use interface and has great potential. However, updates on fire incident information needs to be improved for this app to be really useful. There are several significant incidents near me that have not been updated for size and level of containment in a couple days. Hope the developer can make the fixes. Give me a good reliable app that I can use for important, timely safety decisions, I'll pay more than $0.99 for it. Best wishes.

### 2/5 — Not up to date. It’s a few days behinds

*2020-08-19, version 2.1.0*

Not very useful when it’s not current

### 4/5 — Fair but slow on updates

*2020-08-06, version 2.1.0*

Slow on updates

New fires going in Oregon and it does not show them. They are on BLM land

### 2/5 — Errgh-

*2020-07-07, version 2.1.0*

I am trying to find an app that will alert me to wildfires within a 50 mile radius of me. This is not that app. Can I get a refund on my purchase? Just got the app minutes ago and am already deleting it.

### 2/5 — Fire starter!

*2020-06-17, version 2.1.0*

I have used it for several weeks now and;

Watched several fires close to me and no record mentioned been 24 hrs. I understand that the feed might take a while, ok. More interesting to me when it hits the news maybe it should be updated here. I live in Mentone Ca San Bernardino County, and fire services are federal, cal fire and county and city. Thank You

### 1/5 — Well?? Totally out of date

*2019-11-26, version 2.0.0*

Are you ever going to update this app?? It’s useless unless it’s a MASSIVE fire, which gets reported in news media better than this app.

### 1/5 — Not recommended

*2019-11-07, version 2.0.0*

I’m surrounded by fires and none of them are on this app. Was hoping this could be a reliable way to be updated on the fires. I’m 10000000% better off with a google search.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Trash

*2024-04-07, version 2.1.0*

App is not real time and possibly not even real

### 1/5 — Disappointed

*2023-08-14, version 2.1.0*

3 years ago, I found this to be informative. For the last year or so, with many fires with a last update 3 or more weeks ago. New fires are not shown for several days or more. Or not at all. Not much value to me.

### 1/5 — Useless.

*2022-07-07, version 2.1.0*

A fire started a mile from my house in the forest. Not a single mention of this fire. Homes were evacuated, still no mention of the fire.

### 1/5 — Cripple creek fire

*2022-05-13, version 2.1.0*

The fire nearest to me is not listed. It’s 386 acres.

### 1/5 — Not up to date

*2021-12-31, version 2.1.0*

The Colorado wild fires aren’t showing up 3 days later

### 1/5 — Not accurate

*2020-09-10, version 2.1.0*

Does not show current fires on map.

### 1/5 — Lincoln City Oregon

*2020-09-09, version 2.1.0*

We are in the process of evacuating our hospital yet this fire is not visible on your app🤬

### 1/5 — Not Up To Date

*2020-09-08, version 2.1.0*

Not up to date whatsoever. My whole area is being evacuated for a fire that isn’t even on the map

### 1/5 — Where’s the fire???

*2020-09-07, version 2.1.0*

There is a major fire 20 miles away from my family’s home and this doesn’t show anything. This app isn’t keeping up with most of the fires in Colorado or surrounding areas.

### 1/5 — Lousy with updates

*2020-08-29, version 2.1.0*

I bought this app when the LNU complex started near our home in the North Bay Area in August of 2020. For days it showed a small portion of the fire but hadn’t been updated as the fire spread. By the time we were under mandatory evacuation due to another fire that had been growing for a couple of days, it still didn’t even show it on updated maps. Save your money and use caltopo.com

Great to be able to avoid fires when traveling

### 5/5 — Great for quick reference.

*2020-09-09, version 2.1.0*

I use this for quick yet detailed reference. Easy to use. Very satisfied.

### 5/5 — Fire app

*2020-09-08, version 2.1.0*

I think another feature you may want to consider adding is a smoke overlay/layer and a layer to show burned areas.

Love this app though and we use it often because of where we live.

### 5/5 — User

### 5/5 — Brian

As a former federal wildland firefighter firefighter, any and all sources of information is desirable.

### 5/5 — Awesome app!

*2019-07-11, version 2.0.0*

I have been searching and searching to find an app that would show me fires. Just left Alaska where there were a lot of fires going on that I wanted to follow. This is the first app that I have found that gives detailed information on each one of the fires! Awesome job!

### 5/5 — Good App

*2018-11-13, version 2.0.0*

I am from Redding Ca. But currently live in Sacramento, Ca. Area.
This app has been a godsend to me during all the current and recent fires in California. I have been able to follow the progress of the fire. The info. Is updated daily, which has been very helpful.
Great Apo.
Thank you!

### 5/5 — Convenient and easy way to stay informed

*2018-08-26, version 2.0.0*

This is the best most convenient source to stay up to date. Love seeing all the pictures

### 5/5 — Fire Finder Is Awesome

*2018-08-22, version 2.0.0*

This is a great app that is very informative. I live in the West and fires are a huge concern for us every Summer. This app is updated daily and keeps you in the know. Much easier to understand than the official reports sent out by the Forest Service. I highly recommend this to all persons living near or in danger states or areas of concern.

### 5/5 — So helpful during Fire Season

*2018-08-01, version 2.0.0*

I am a California Native and fire season can get pretty crazy here. We have to pay attention even when the fires aren’t close bye because of summer traveling. I used to bounce between 3-4 different websites and twitter just to figure out where all the active wildfires were. This was well worth the 99 cents to save me a lot of time.
