A game for a boy that's not a puzzle! *2013-01-05* My son is 2 and a half and I have had a hard time finding apps for boys that aren't just puzzles or matching and that he can handle himself. It's not great but is ok. My biggest complaint is that this app (like others by this company) does not rotate on the screen. Not a big problem if you're playing with IPad flat. IF you're using a stand for your Ipad then this creates a big problem. This app is nicely presented and well animated. Reading reviews ahead of time saying children love saving the animals, and how great and interactive leaves me a bit confused. I think the interaction is pretty minimal,, a few taps and the entire job is complete. Which would be fine if there were more to it. But it just repeats the same 2 or 3 scenes over and over. No rescuing animals can't even get to a main menu. Yes, it is a bit repetitive, but there was plenty to keep him engaged. I would say this was one of his favorites back then.
