## What is Firefight?

Firefight is a World War II real-time simulation game with more AI and attention to detail than any other game in its genre to date. Tanks are modelled with a physics engine and have gears, rev counters and speedos, and steer themselves with brake levers to give them realistic looking tracked vehicle movement. Each bullet, shell or piece of shrapnel is modelled in 3D and ricochets realistically off sloping surfaces. You can see each infantryman's rank, name, weapon, ammunition remaining, heart rate and fatigue levels. Machine gunners will call for ammunition when they're running low and other squad members will rush over with spare ammo if they are carrying any. Wounded men call for medics who will sprint over to administer first aid. Off-board artillery can be called in but will have to fire several ranging shots before the full 8 gun battery opens fire simultaneously.

Honestly I’ve always enjoyed this game when I needed to cure some boredom. I saw the process of adding air strikes to the game and asked when this would come to IOS and it finally has. Amazing game, I cannot wait for mods to be added to IOS as well

Can u make it so the tanks know to shoot at tanks first and not at infantry? The ai is still pretty stupid especially since the last update. Tanks take forever to fire with the enemy in their sights. And then when they get hit they panic and reverse all the way out into the wide open

This game is fun, been playing for a year now. The only thing I hate is the dumb AI that’s controlling the tanks, always rotating for no reason, never has a round ready in the turret, takes a whole minute just to shoot. That is my only complaint, please work on the AI thats using the tanks.

This game is great BUT can be IMPROVED to make it the best in the genre BY FAR. First, is the addition of a 2X speed button so players can chose their own pace of gameplay instead of one very slow pace. Second, is to add a sandbox mode to the custom game function and removing the dang credit lock on attacking/defending/ctf modes! Third, is to be able to save a matches progress, so if things go wrong new strategies can be attempted, this would be helpful to both custom and campaign play.

Don’t get me wrong. I’ve had this game for over about 10 years I believe, and in that time this game scratch the strategy itch that we know other games on this App Store has ever put out. With that being said it’s a 10/10 game I can’t complain about much except for the occasional weird movements from the troops and being able to see the enemy. But with the more content I love that there’s more maps now and especially city maps, including the bombing run and gun run I just wish when your playing a custom game there’s more interactive content and maybe a description on the soldiers that can’t move after an explosion, like “shell shocked” maybe also different era troops and definitely medics being able to help heal your troops. And I just wanted to leave of with this is definitely worth the purchase and I can’t wait on more content in the future the maps are 10/10 and the troops definitely improved a lot since the beginning 🙂‍↕️🙂‍↕️🙂‍↕️🙌
