*2018-03-15, version 6.5.1*

Very useful and in depth! Some times I wish I had of just bought this instead of actually taking classes lol.

### 5/5 — Love this app

*2018-01-28, version 6.4*

It lets you pick specific chapters you need to work on, and gives you questions pertaining to that chapter!

### 5/5 — Love this app

*2017-06-14, version 6.3*

Keeps my knowledge in check

### 5/5 — Great app!

*2017-05-15, version 6.3*

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Trash

*2020-01-15, version 6.7.6*

Save your money and just stick to reading the book, this will not help you pass especially on not hazmat material.

**Developer response:** We regret to hear that. We believe our material is helpful, so do many of our users. Your feedback will certainly push us to try better and better.

### 1/5 — You will fail the test

*2019-10-14, version 6.7.3*

I have been reading the textbook as I take the quizzes on this app and the information is very inaccurate. An awful app to use to prepare for the written test. Do not buy unless you want to know false information about the fire service.

**Developer response:** Hi there! Sorry to hear you are not enjoying the app. We have many users who say that the Firefighter Pocket Prep has helped them pass their exam. If there are some question in the app you find misleading, please reach out to us through the app to report them. We can't wait to hear from you!

### 1/5 — Constantly freezes

*2019-05-12, version 6.7.3*

Shuts down involuntary and freezes at inopportune times. Not impressed.

**Developer response:** Hi there! So sorry to hear about this issue! Please contact us through the app and we’ll get this problem sorted out asap. We appreciate your understanding and support.

### 2/5 — Crashing

*2019-12-10, version 6.7.6*

The app has been crashing so much I cannot use it to study for my test this week. It deleted my progress and logged me out and crashes before I can log back in. When it used to work it frequently indicated there were no questions available and takes a long time to find them. The question explanations are very lacking in additional information, and just rewords the question repeatedly. I used the EMT pocket prep app and loved it, but I regret buying this one.

### 2/5 — Needs to separate Fire 1 from Fire 2

*2019-11-29, version 6.7.6*

The topic indicates that there is a Fire 1 and Fire 2 test. Once you buy it there isn’t a way that you can study for just Fire 1 or Fire 2.

### 4/5 — QOD

*2017-04-17, version 6.2.1*

Great app very educational though most things can only be taught through on the job training it is very helpful in studying for test...only problem I have with it is he questions of the day(QOD) glitches occasionally and does not allow you to select a answer but you can hit submit and see the correct answer at no penalty.

### 5/5 — Passed Firefighter I & II

*2020-04-23, version 6.7.6*

Took my firefighter I & II exams on the same day. Passed both! This app is what made it a breeze. Read the questions and read through explanations. The wrong answers in the questions are outlined in the explanations. Knowing those as well will help you on the test. Pay for the unlimited version. Totally worth it. This and my paper tests during academy were my only study tools.

### 5/5 — A great way to Study

*2020-02-15, version 6.7.6*

I like Pocketprep because it the questions are well thought out and designed to make you think about the answers. Quizlet is a great tool but pocketprep feels less automated. I also used the EMT version and finished NREMT on my first try.

### 5/5 — Test

### 5/5 — Awesome!

*2019-10-22, version 6.7.3*

Used this app for a few weeks a few times a day and sure did pay off. I passed FF1 test and was so stoaked I had to write a review. I was hesitant at first to put my trust in an app but it seriously helped. Definitely recommend.

**Developer response:** Thank you, Jessy, for taking the time to leave us a kind review! We are so glad to hear that you passed your exam! Congratulations! We would love to get in touch with you to hear more about your experience for a larger testimonial. ## Most praised reviews (6 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Fire 1 & 2

*2019-07-20, version 6.7.3*

I passed both tests on the first attempt. This app is awesome and was a great tool to help me prepare. It was easy to use and showed me subjects that I was weak in that I still needed to study more. Don’t hesitate, install this app immediately!!!

### 5/5 — It’s a wonderful App

*2019-05-23, version 6.7.3*

This app taught me a lot about being fire 1 and 2 it has really good information you will use in the field

### 5/5 — 1 Suggestion

*2019-02-17, version 6.7*

Pocket Prep was great for my EMT studying and has been for my firefighter studying as well. One improvement would be to include little visuals in the answer explanations. Keep it up!

### 5/5 — Fire

*2019-02-15, version 6.7*

This app is great! Love using it I also love the EMT one as well. Both amazing.

### 5/5 — I passed my NREMT, with ease just using this app

*2018-10-15, version 6.5.6*

I took the class about 2 months ago and forgot a couple of things but using the app and going through every question and their individual explanations I took notes. Reviewed those before the test. Did 100 questions a day for 5 days in a row and I had previously done about 600 questions during the time I took the course. And I was able to pass without a problem my test shut off at question 70. I highly recommend this app to use while in class and to prepare for the test, it was 15 dollars well spend. Thank you!

### 5/5 — Good app but needs more practice questions per chapter.

*2018-09-10, version 6.5.5*

This app needs more than 30 questions per review for each chapter. The more questions the better.
