The Firefly for Parents app is your place to go for school announcements, homework, grades, learning resources and much more.

Simply log in using the code provided by your school and you will have access to all the essential information you need to support your child’s learning.

You’ll be able to see when homework is set, when it is due and have easy access to the same learning resources your child is using. You can also get important announcements and messages, such as for upcoming school trips, or Parents’ Evenings straight to your phone.

Firefly for Parents lets you:

This app is so slow… my child has completed work and yet on my Firefly parents app it shows that it is still due. 
Also in the done section it is totally blank.
How does this a help to parents, when you’re trying to support your children? 
If I didn’t have to use this app, I wouldn’t.

Frustratingly difficult to navigate before a recent update, it is now completely useless, can’t open emails, domain doesn’t match app, can’t get to any of the school links that used to be on the dashboard. The guide says  “if you want to add bookmarks, go to the website” Seriously. 

Zero stars is the actual rating deserved.

One of the worst UIs. Virtually impossible to read any data due to fields not fitting on screen or being truncated .. an app within an app - homepage looks ok.. but when you go deeper you are back in the old view. To the developers.. just build a completely new mobile front end… please. This is like they hooked up an old Pentium PC app to iOS…

I have been using firefly for roughly two years, usually no problems. Until recently there was a new update and I could no longer get to report my child as absent. This used to be on the dashboard and used to be easy, now I have to log into my computer to report as I no longer see anything in the app with this functionality.  Also, the booking area used to take me to the web page to submit bookings with the school, but now it appears to be trying to install a certificate and didn’t work until I uninstalled and reinstalled to see if that would resolve the issue.  I haven’t had this issue with updates before, just a bit frustrating with this last update.

It’s useful but can’t read messages or tasks since the update, I click on them but they aren’t there.

I used to be able to view all letters from firefly app (this is the only useful function on app). Now when you click on messages - it comes up with all letters without title so you’d have to click into each to find out what the letter was about. What’s the point of having a function that’s not useful at all? Search also didn’t work. Disappointing.
