### 1/5 — Useless

*2026-03-22, version 1.0.4*

Scanner doesn’t work and even if it did the app is limited. Totally useless. I’d give it no stars if I could.

### 3/5 — Works as intended but…

*2026-03-15, version 1.0.4*

As MrDead63 wrote, you need to put the phone camera as close to the diode as possible, and fill the entire screen. The green circle is just misleading. Forget about it. A bit fiddly with my sensor being attached near the ceiling, but doable. Would be much better if the instructions were clearer.

### 5/5 — FireHawk Data Scan

*2025-12-19, version 1.0.4*

Never had a problem with the app not working from iPhone 7 right through to iPhone 26, just lay the camera lens on top of the led, if the bar doesn’t fill right up just press scan again works every time.

### 1/5 — Doesn’t work

*2025-12-05, version 1.0.4*

Got a monitor from a local charity as I didn’t have one. When scanning into the app, the app just crashes. Tried a few times so can’t use the app. They need to improve this as it’s an important piece of kit that should alert you if needed. Don’t offer an app if it is not working!!

### 1/5 — Useless

*2025-10-20, version 1.0.4*

Doesn’t scan, doesn’t do anything. Pointless. Should’ve bought the base model and saved an extra couple of quid!

### 1/5 — Junk - not worth 1 star..

*2025-07-06, version 1.0.4*

App crashes every time you try and capture a picture of the display within the circle as stipulated.
Therefore it’s utter JUNK..

### 1/5 — Newly installed CO Alarm

*2025-05-07, version 1.0.3*

Installed app and as per all other users just comes up with one screen asking to scan the alarm, then fails. Waste of time. Clearly after 3 years still not resolved the issues. Downloaded to an iPhone 15 pro.

### 1/5 — Won’t connect to CO alarm

*2025-04-12, version 1.0.3*

Repeatedly errors. Gave up.

### 1/5 — Useless

*2025-03-21, version 1.0.3*

Fire brigade & gas safety board gave us 2 new FireHawk CO detectors after a carbon monoxide scare.
Was told we could use this app to check data on CO alarm but the app is absolutely pointless. Alarm is beeping but unable to scan the alarm to check what’s wrong as the app crashes every time. Don’t waste your time.

### 1/5 — Crashes or gives error message every time

*2025-02-19, version 1.0.3*

Hopeless app - let's hope the actual detector works!
