I just think anyone buying this should be aware that 1) it does work as opposed to what others have said, but 2) it is the shortest loop I have ever seen. The fireplace is a four second loop that pauses each time before it starts the loop over again, and the candles is a one second loop that just continually repeats itself every second. You could not actually look at this for more than 10 seconds without figuring out that it is not even a simulation of a real video. We use a classic "YULE LOG" on a 30 minute loop in our fireplace television already and it works great. But, this is really lane, even for $.99. I figured for that price what could you lose – well, I lost a buck. Maybe I will save you the trouble ;-)

Thought this app would go well with my new Chromecast. The feature and idea of it is cool however, it's the quality of the video that is displayed through the Chromecast on your screen is not high enough quality. Doubt it'd be that hard for a change in quality either. Hope to see it in the next update.

The fireplace doesn't show up. It only sounds like a fireplace. The candles work though.

Kind of a fun quirky app. Fire is big orange crackling glow filling your TV screen. Sort of makes you feel warmer after a while.

The app was only showing the candles and not the fireplace but finally it works now and it's awesome! Wish it had more backgrounds though :-) love it!
