If this could be looked into I would be most grateful. Since leaving that review I have since switched to the app WATCHDUTY which is far superior and is actually ran by the fire fighting community and those who work in IC. It is your JOB as developers to check in on each fire in the system and map and update it regularly. Instead you were being lazy and decided to blame a satellite because it wasn’t doing your JOB. pathetic. ### 1/5 — Crash course *2024-09-30, version 4.4.1* Fires was at one time, my go to source for wildfire information. Slowly it’s become problematic, at first it wouldn’t open certain areas and I had to use the WWW button to get any useful information. Today I went to open after seeing a friend’s post about a fire near Big Bear. All that the app did was crash, repeatedly. So I deleted the app and came to the App Store to get the latest version. No luck, still crashes. So I deleted it and will just go to Inciweb or the Cal Fire site directly. 😔 ### 1/5 — Used to work. Only crashes now. *2024-09-29, version 4.4.1* Used to work. Worked my way up to Chief. We added a Medical response unit (retired navy ambulance). Them my job changed routes to the foothill’s up highway 49 in central California. The we moved up to Sierra City Ca. Left my Granny Goose route job. Bought Bassett’s Station. Sierra City VFD needed a chief so I filled the billet. Much experience in both departments structure, wildland fires,medical calls. Sold business moved up to NE Oregon. Hired on with contract wildland fire fighting company, Contract Water Wagons and worked that for 5 years as truck boss. Then retired down to CENTRAL TEXAS.
