I went to to office on Far Hills I Kettering to seek professional help. I met a young lady named Jamie. She worked with me for or six days! I saw her every day and she assured me we were making progress. I had told her I thought I had caused the problem. This nice lady got my problem resolved! With service like this I will always bank at First and recommend it to every one! ### 2/5 — Needs improvement *2023-01-26, version 13.0.5724* I appreciate that I can get to the basics on the app such as my balance or statements, but it still seems limited. Frustrating to need to always have a phone call anytime I need to validate login. I’m not able to do certain functions on the app without adding personal info to it or doing something else to my account but then am told I have to speak with someone to change it. I’m also not able to pay my balance while on the app, which is the most frustrating. Requesting replacement ATM/Debit card requires a call to a branch. ordering through mail is 7-10 days yet through a branch same day. when using bill pay have to guess at date for delivery. when trying to find locations, map is not compatible with google maps. using the help feature is a redirect to a website that doesn’t even mention first financial. not a comforting process for security. ### 5/5 — It grows on you *2022-12-22, version 13.0.5724* Easy and reliable, with intuitive user interface. It does not have all of the junk that US bank clutters it’s interface with, and not as much eye candy. Ya only complaint is the lag time from the time money is actually deposited until it is reflected in your account balance. Yes, in fact I have determined that I love it. It is simple and straightforward, and transactions are updated in seconds. ### 5/5 — Best Bank to Come to town *2022-12-13, version 13.0.5724* We live in a small farming towns. Goodland, Indians. We have had many banks come and go over the years. So far, First Financial is the best. We like when they call us when they think there’re is a gradual trend charge and they follow up for us. The caskets are real helpful. I am disabled and they will come out to help me if I can’t do it through drive through. They are good about explains things and have a lot of patience. We also love the on line and Mobil banking. It is so easy❤️ ### 3/5 — Leaves Alot To Be Desired *2022-11-17, version 13.0.5724* Direct Deposits take 2-3 Days to show up on accounts. My main issue is still weekend deductions or payments sporadically show up. The mobile bank app has snap deposit, Ill give it that. The app has become more stable after the updates. Still no way to dispute transactions through the app. Balance always takes forever to deduct 5 days being the most. I always have to be super careful on Fridays because it wont show up until Monday/tuesday. ### 1/5 — I give a 0 if I could. *2022-10-30, version 12.0.5713* Not only do I not like this bank but the app isn’t any better. I’ve only banked with First Financial for a little over a week and they have disabled my account twice now. The first time they disabled my account, I was given 0 explanation as to why. The second time my account was disabled(which was only a couple of days after the first time) I was told two separate reasons by two separate representatives. The first reason was that my phone number all of a sudden did not match, and then the second representative says it’s actually because of some random fraudulent activity. This is news to me because I was never once told about any fraudulent activity by the other representative, and I’ve only ever made one transaction with the account which I had explained multiple times. I then asked about my debit card that was supposed to be coming in the mail which I was then told that it had been blocked a few days prior. This isn’t even half of the amount of issues I’ve had. This bank is awful. ### 2/5 — So many issues *2022-10-11, version 12.0.5713* I hate that I can never use this app. I need mobile banking so badly but this app gives me nothing but trouble. Every time I try to use it it tells me I need to register my device AGAIN. It never saves my password or my Face ID. I'm constantly having to reset everything just to login and sometimes it takes over 24 hours for me to receive the email or phone call I need to reset. So frustrating! And it's been happening since day one and I've had this account for almost a year. Please fix these issues! Going through the messaging portion of the app to contact them with any questions or concerns I’ve always had a quick response as long as it’s within business hours. That’s why I’m giving this app a 5 star review, not to mention the entire banking staff have always been warm, welcoming, kind, and understanding. ### 5/5 — Big bank with friendly little bank feel *2021-12-21, version 12.0.5713* The same usual thing happens at most banks: loans are given, investments are made, money deposited and withdrawn. However, First Financial Bank has some amazing differences. I am retired and my only income is Social Security, but I am treated like a VIP whenever I stop in and it doesn’t seem to matter which branch it is. From the tellers to the Branch Manager, it seems like people are treated with courtesy and care that was common 50 years ago at small privately owned banks.
