## What is First Letters and Phonics Lite?

Match the letters and listen to the song!  First Letters teaches the youngest iPhone kids about letters and phonics, and includes two original renditions of the ABC Song by popular children's musician Debi Derryberry.

Toddler tested and approved, First Letters keeps your toddlers entertained and engaged while developing important pre-reading skills.

Going to delete this app as it does not use phonetics but rather just the alphabets. In UK kids learn the phonetics first so this will not be ideal for a UK parent.

Yes you only get 4 letters.  But what is the lite version for?  It's to give the parent a taste before you spend $1 on the full version.  I loaded the lite and it was good enough to upgrade to full version.  If you are really going to 1 star this app because its limited, then you need to stop buying iPads for your toddler.  Seriously, people spend so much money on their kids at toys r us, but $1 for an app is outrageous ... If this pertains to you, stop breeding.

My son really enjoys this app...it has really helped him to learn his letters and be able to recognize them as well.

This app (free version) has some nice graphics and could potentially be a great app for beginners or kids with disabilities. However, I was truly disappointed with only receiving four letters in the free version. I've noticed this in many "lite" versions and find it a waste of time and space for me when your only motive is to have someone purchase your full version. It's the new trick of the trade it seems for many apps. A turn off for me who would normally pay for an upgraded version but not like this. I'd rather search the App Store further for another app before falling for a bait type product. 

It makes me wonder how much more would actually be in the paid app...

I found the alphabet song great. The way the letters r projected, I have enjoyed showing  it to my baby. Hope more features were free then I could have said more things about this programme.

It was really disappointing to learn I only got 4, yes FOUR, letters, abcd, with this app. This is a sorry excuse for a trial version. And I was told by the description I was getting two songs, one with sounds and one with names. The interface for the name song was cool but that was the only one I got.

My sister played this app(she is four)and told me, "Lexi, I think this game is dumb, can I get another one?" I played it and found out that ONE GAME AND A SONG! I don't even want to try the full version!
