However, I was truly disappointed with only receiving four letters in the free version. I've noticed this in many "lite" versions and find it a waste of time and space for me when your only motive is to have someone purchase your full version. It's the new trick of the trade it seems for many apps. A turn off for me who would normally pay for an upgraded version but not like this. I'd rather search the App Store further for another app before falling for a bait type product. And I was told by the description I was getting two songs, one with sounds and one with names. They know the song so they can sing along but they know happy birthday too but can't spell it if asked too so if they slowed the letters down in that area I think the app would be great and I would rate higher ### 3/5 — First letter and phonics lite *2013-01-07, version 2.2* I found the alphabet song great. The way the letters r projected, I have enjoyed showing it to my baby. Hope more features were free then I could have said more things about this programme. ### 4/5 — Don't mind the bad reviews. *2013-09-14* Yes you only get 4 letters. But what is the lite version for? It's to give the parent a taste before you spend $1 on the full version. I loaded the lite and it was good enough to upgrade to full version. If you are really going to 1 star this app because its limited, then you need to stop buying iPads for your toddler. Seriously, people spend so much money on their kids at toys r us, but $1 for an app is outrageous ...
