It's a simple game that does the job, my 24 month old could match the letters after a few games showing she was beginning to recognise the shapes of letters. The alphabet song plays as it shows each letter, encouraging letter recognition during the song. The game involves matching identical letters and then provides a word that starts with that letter. In the settings, you are able to change the game to match just lowercase letters, just uppercase letters, or lowercase letters to uppercase letters. You can also set it so it says the letter name or the letter sound. Perfect for the young children, it keeps it simple, but allows for growth development as they are learning their letters. Great introductory learning app for babies that know the alphabet and ready to use a tablet or phone. It has 2 parts: Letter matching pairs and the alphabet song. Pros: * Phonetic mode (most common sound of a letter) is available, learning the letter sounds is probably the best way to ready children for reading * The alphabet song can be set to phonetic mode as well, only app that seems to have it * The letter case of matching pairs can be customized Cons: * Baby learned the phonetic sounds of the letters so fast, she moved to First Words Pro, a pricy but worthwhile app. ### 5/5 — Love it *2013-03-16, version 2.2* My autistic son loves this game.
