## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — No longer working

*2025-10-13*

App sadly doesn’t work with new iOS

### 1/5 — It stopped working after updating

*2023-10-11*

It just stopped working after updating

### 1/5 — 100+ scanners

*2023-06-29*

We have 100+ scanners across the country and running into error 136 and taking 10min to scan a truck. Talked with Tim in tech support and left multiple voicemails for Dave Shock product manager. Blamed it on Apple and their updates, you can see First-Link just got it’s first update in 3 yrs… never had these problems and we’ve been using for about 6 yrs now. Would love to change the rating but until they are fixed this scanner can’t be trusted.

### 1/5 — White font

*2019-12-16*

White Font on white/light background!!! Realy?

### 1/5 — Abandoned

*2019-12-09*

This apps needs update.

### 1/5 — Does not operate as advertised

*2019-08-05*

Cannot read even basic codes on Mack, Volvo, kenworth or peterbilt.

### 1/5 — No support for 16 pin ):

*2019-06-10*

Why sell a product with a 16 pin plug if there’s no support for it?
Will scan 2016+ Volvo with 90% of the information missing.
I inquired with Nexiq support and was told they don’t support the 16 pin side of this device??!!
I recommend you get the Blue Link Mini instead. Cheaper and better connectivity vs blue link.

### 1/5 — Cummins adapters removed

*2017-06-20*

Why were the Cummins Inline adapters removed in version 1.01?

### 3/5 — It’s okay for quick reports

*2024-04-23*

I have had this app on my phone for a few months now, I use it with Nexiq Blue Link 2 and a Cummins InLine mini. While it’s easy to set up, I sometimes have issues connecting to the adapter. Restarting the app appears to fix it.

But my biggest complaint is no support for anything other than 9 pin trucks. Why release a new adapter (Blue-Link 2) with a 16 pin/OBD plug but not support anything on the 16 pin side? I searched the websites for help in this department but there is no support for this device or app.

Every time I try to connect to Ford, GM, Isuzu, Hino, Mercedes Sprinter, or any Chrysler/Ram product it says no ECM detected. I work for a huge fleet company and this would be a beneficial tool for pulling fault/health reports during a PM but we have more than just 9 pin trucks here.

Also to be noted, this app doesn’t allow bi-directional controls or tests and cannot clear faults. I hope they add light and medium duty support because then this app would be very helpful. Until then, I’ll have to keep break out the laptop and another adapter and use OEM software.

### 3/5 — 50/50

*2017-12-12*

Not able to delete codes but does work with Nexiq Bluetooth 2

## Most praised reviews (2 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Need to reset apps each time . No more supported

*2026-02-06*

Sad

### 4/5 — Question??

*2018-01-01*

Can this app with the blue link mini actually clear the fault codes or does it just show you them????
