The old app, was so much better than this one!!!!! Are you waiting for more people to find another bank?! 🤬🤬🤬🤬 ### 1/5 — Terrible recent update *2025-11-02, version 4018.0.0* The recent update removed the option to lock cards, view card number, and transfers with Zelle. This update removed the best part of the app to replace it with eDocs which literally serves no purpose other than viewing statements which was previously available in settings, now it replaces the most valuable settings. I’ve never used an app that is under as much maintenance as this app and will not be banking here because of it ### 1/5 — Watch out! They will drain your money! *2025-10-20* My checking account was great until First Mid Bank and Trust took over. No matter what amount I’ve had in my checking account, they’ve been steadily taking $6.00 out of my account monthly. The bank that they had taken over for had not done this. I discovered this when I told my husband I should start using this checking account as my main bank account and said it’s down to only like $200 now so I’ll put more into it. I opened the app only to see that they had swindled me out of my money. It’s now worth less than $6.00 - I think it’s like $2.00 now because of all of the money they have stolen from me. It’s not even worth it to close it because I’m so angry right now, I don’t even want to see anyone related to this bank. DO NOT TRUST THEM! It’s never up-to-date and I have to sign online at my computer because I know this won’t be accurate. I used to be that i could open up my bank account and immediately see the transactions i made within the last minute of a purchase so i could keep myself up to date on what i was buying what bills i paid, etc. Now my payments are all scattered everywhere. I have bill payments showing at the top i’ve made 2 weeks ago and payments i just made that don’t even show up at all. Like you legitimately have to wait days for the payment to even show up in your account and even then it doesn’t show it as taken out of your account balance. It just shows it as “pending.” I don’t like this. How am i supposed to know if someone steals my card info or something? They can make all these purchases and it wouldn’t show up for 2 to 3 days when before it would be instantly. Why did they downgrade? I can’t deal with the huge delays. I waited to give an opinion until I had used it for a while. It’s been months and my opinion hasn’t changed. It isn’t easy to pay bills, doesn’t have a user friendly set up. I can’t tell which place I’ve made a purchase from. The font is definitely big enough to see the amount spent, just not the vendor. Overall, the app is just very ‘basic’. My transactions are not up to date, sometimes taking a few days to post…which kind of defeats the purpose of a mobile app. I also frequently make mobile deposits and that part of the app is so finicky that I’m often having to take 8-10 pictures before it’s accepted. I never had that problem before the update. This is dumb, the Blackhawk app also never had a quarter of the downtime for various issues.
