The usual complaints that others are saying. Not user friendly at all. I can’t believe they won’t look at other banking apps and just TRY and copy them. This app stinks. Even when you call the bank(because the app tells you too) the employees say they know the app is bad. Wonder what that is saying about the bank then? ### 1/5 — Please call again *2019-08-18, version 19.1.30* The app is great when it works but gives me a phone number to call when it does not work which is most of the time. The bank is behind the times with many services. I called Bemidji first national bank, no solution. Not so much in a buggy way either just not a lot of thought put into user friendliness if any. ### 1/5 — They Ruined It *2026-04-01, version 25.2.370* If I could give 0 stars I would. The old app they had was amazing, work great, never had issues except for occasionally getting logged out and having to reset my password. Earlier this year they revamped the whole app. It’s complete garbage. Nothing loads, it’s slow, transfers rarely go through, and it looks more like a browser than an app. You’re better off logging in on the safari browser with one bar than using this hot garbage with full service. ### 1/5 — Update sucks *2026-02-09, version 25.1.322* If I could give this app zero stars I would. The app is now basically a hyperlink to the online banking system which doesn’t work great on mobile devices. On top of constantly coming up with an error code when I log in, and long load times for every page. The old app was great. Easy to navigate and use. This was FINE since the app itself was smooth enough. After the recent update the app has gone from bad to WORSE. Which I didn’t think was possible. It’s like opening a desktop page from a phone which is bad quality enough, but also doing it through a poorly optimized application. Absolute torture just to access MY money. Ridiculous. I get a white screen and immediate crash on every attempt. However, once in, it was very easy to get things authorized and changed. I also like the biometric capability. I believe in time management.
