You need to fix this problem immediately. The account that I am depositing into is not showing on each screen of the deposit transaction. I need to see the account on each page. ALSO, it is not easy to change from one account to another. I had a hard time finding my other accounts. There were no arrows or obvious guides to my other accounts???!! Your system has changed. It used to be much better. I am aggravated and disappointed. I’m editing someone’s complaint because your app is totally malfunctioning!!!!!??? I say DITTO TO EVERYTHING THE ABOVE PERSON POINTED OUT!!! ### 5/5 — Balance *2023-07-20* Love the app. I have a suggestion. There are still a few of us who balance our checkbooks each month and sometimes midmonth using the daily balance in the app. I know most people just look at their balance online. It would be great if on the bill pay page for example you could show what the balance would be if all scheduled payments were made. And then permit user to enter additional outstanding (like you know paper ) checks. Then we would be better able to plan deposits and cover. Thanks ### 5/5 — Best bank there is; most competent/professional bankers *2023-06-01* Hello, we’ve been banking with FRB since the beginning. We began with FRB in SF and moved later to another No. CA branch as we phased into retirement — still the most exceptional, professional and capable banking expertise & service at the new FRB branch (as expected). Our grown children also bank with FRB, and now the grandchildren have accounts with FRB, as well. Our professional/capable bankers know us by sight and name, and they serve us well - by phone and in person. We have CDs with FRB, and those were undisturbed (still earning interest) during the Chase/FRB buy-out! There was never a worry about where our funds were or who was managing them! I will say this, we have accounts at another bank, but this is just a risk-management plan so we have funds-accessibility in a “Too Big To Fail” institution. Our main “House” account and Business accounts remain with FRB — BECAUSE WE TRUST THE INSTITUTION AND THE PEOPLE MANAGING OUR ACCOUNTS! Also, we use the iPhone app quite often, and that is extremely user-friendly, so in-person trips to the bank are now minimal. It’s our opinion - after 50+ years of banking, there is NO better service than that offered by FRB (in all branches). Stealthview is a great touch; allows me to check my balances safely on the bus with so many people near me. Mobile deposits are a snap and they offer high limits compared to any other bank. System takes the pictures of the front and back of check for you. Adding billers and making bill payments on the go can now be done right on the app. I can even see all my external accounts right through the app, getting a consolidated view of all my finances. Really clean interface! ### 5/5 — Top rate service *2023-02-15, version 7.1.15* FIRST REPUBLIC has been the best bank I have ever worked with. I’ve been through USBank and Bank of America and other major banks but none of them come close to what first republic does. I don’t know any other bank that has fresh baked chocolate chip cookies made by staff in the afternoons. Everyone is very friendly, goes out of their way to help, and the services are extraordinary. My only complaint is that I just moved from the west side to Calabasas and they don’t have a branch near me for the moment. I am aggravated and disappointed. ### 5/5 — Harder to use than previous Republic Mobile App *2023-01-13, version 7.1.15* Who decided it would be a good idea to hide the BILL PAY function by nesting it under something labeled as MOVE MONEY? I had to hunt and use multiple keystrokes to pay my bills electronically. The positive response from the developer came soon after I posted the above words, and the solution almost immediately. First Republic Bank stands alone in overall excellence and customer service. ### 2/5 — Latest build is buggy to the point of not usable *2023-01-12, version 7.1.15* Tapping the deposit button locks you into the deposit screen, attempts to cancel out loop you right back into the same screen. The same behavior applies to the bill pay function, it is impossible to look at activity or pending payments as it immediately brings up the payment screen. Hopefully FR will actually have their QA team at least launch the app and test the screens before pushing the build out to release. I’m a new customer so unsure if this is their standard quality, but disappointing regardless. At this point I am going back to the desktop. ### 1/5 — Not Good *2022-12-27, version 6.12.7* We live in Napa, CA. I bank exclusively at FRB (3 separate accts.). I don’t like the set-up of this new app. It’s awkward and nothing like prior app. Also, it shows Pending Debits but NOT Pending Credits! Via Mobile Deposit I deposited my paycheck and an Expense Reimbursement check (2 checks) on Sat. , 12/24. As of yet - 12/27 - they don’t show up as “Pending Deposits”. Yet, the checks I’ve written that have been “cashed “ do show up as debits (occurring during this Holiday Weekend). The two mobile FRB deposits were confirmed to me ONLY by an EMAIL to my personal EM account. No confirmation shows up in my FRB Mobile Account statement. I cannot see the two checks that were deposited via my phone app!! It is a worry and this hasn’t ever happened before! I always recommend FRB to family and friends. If the new app isn’t straightened out, I may consider a different bank! END OF APP. REVIEW. —. Not a good app. Bring back the prior format! — Catherine B Clark to me by FRB via sn email acknowledged ### 1/5 — Terrible banking app *2022-12-05, version 6.11.15* The app does stuff the website doesn’t do, and far more can only be done on the website but not the app. If you try to set up e-bills you will have to manually “file” YEARS of bills you already paid via a likely more functional banking app. And you can only do that on the website. Once you finish marking each individual bill as paid, you will not be able to access your e-bill when it’s issued. I still don’t know when I’ll be able to see my Verizon bill that I got days ago. I feel like I’m back in 2008 and am dealing with an archaic, basic, semi-functional online banking experience. Yes FRB gives you an actual person to deal with but the only reason I am dealing with them is because of the non-functional app or overall slowness of the banks ability to process transactions.
