I knew I had First Stop Health so decided to give it a try. After completing my pre-requisite questionnaire, a doctor contacted me in less than a minute and provided me with his service. In a few minutes, doctor’s visit was done with meds sent to the pharmacy. I love that they are always there in time of need with only being one call away.. absolutely wonderful, professional and courteous doctors thank you guys for what you do! ### 2/5 — teladoc is better *2026-03-01, version 4.107.1* my employer switched to FSH for 2026. two months in and i literally cannot stand it. the terms of service/privacy policies are sketchy, and their check in guidelines are overly strict, but the experience is the worst part. i waited TWO hours for “urgent care” to call me back. i stepped away from my phone for a second after hanging around for hours. i missed the call by a minute and there is no option to call back. with our previous service i received care usually within ten minutes, never more than thirty. i could also call back if i missed the provider’s call. FSH forces you to enter another visit request and start the process over. this is very arduous with their wait times and hoops. the pros of FSH are that its free to me, the app is very well designed and easy to use, and the third party providers can be competent. ### 5/5 — Fast friendly help *2026-02-15, version 4.106.1* I was astonished at how fast I received help when I used first stop! I’ve called them once or twice a year since 2019 when I have kidney infection symptoms and they prescribe the antibiotics. Or if I’m sick, they call in appropriate meds. But now in 2026 there’s this new question “have you seen a primary care doctor in the last 12 months?” ***If you check no, they won’t prescribe you anything and will tell you to go to an in person doctor. The whole point of this is to avoid going to a doctor!! So now I’m shopping for a new telemedicine. ### 3/5 — LOVE FIRST STOP HEALTH, NOT CRAZY ABOUT THE APP *2025-12-23, version 4.103.2* The 3 star rating in no way reflects on the First Stop Health service, which I am extremely pleased with. The rating only applies to this app, which needs a lot of work. For instance, any medical information provided, such as history, allergies, medications, etc. doesn't seem to get uploaded to my provider when entered in the app. I have to visit the First Stop Health website to push things through. The app is also useless for messaging my provider. It's unreliable, and limits me to just a couple of short sentences. When I log into the website I can send a lengthy detailed message with no problems, and the messages always get through. I really hope the developer gets their code together, but for now I'm relying on the website. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — App doesn’t work *2026-07-29, version 4.113.0* Tried to install multiple times over the last few hours, but the app won’t open. Wish my employer hadn’t switched ### 1/5 — Wasted my time *2026-06-18, version 4.113.0* They offered an incentive to take a virtual primary care appointment before the end of the month - sounds awesome! The 18th rolls around and they send me a text at my appointment time saying that I missed my appointment even though I was sitting with my phone in front of me waiting for the call. They send me a link to reschedule for next month instead, nullifying my chance for the incentive. I call customer support and they say “there’s nothing we can do”. Absolutely CLASSIC waste of time for everyone involved, I never would have scheduled if they hadn’t offered me a gift card to begin with. ### 1/5 — Broken app *2026-01-19, version 4.105.1* App crashes when cancel appointments. It closes the keyboard each key I press taking way longer to type. I have not seen an app even have an issue with the keyboard like this app. Login using Face ID is broken and I have to try a few times before it works. I can’t see my dashboard, there’s literally no way for me to schedule anything. If I’m lucky enough to sign in, the keyboard won’t pull up on my phone when prompted. So I can’t enter height and weight, which is a required field, and won’t let me continue to set an appointment. I end up copying and pasting my information from my notes app to force an appointment through. They sound so unconfident and contradictory. Each doctor says a different thing. This is the second time I used it because it’s through my work and the doctors are in such a hurry to not listen to you and not prescribe anything. Just use over the counter stuff I was told.
