With over 500 words in 4 grade levels, each with 3 levels of difficulties, there is endless hours of playful learning in this app!  Children can make their own profiles with avatars and collect bonus stickers as they advance through the words.

It's amazing how much fun the kids have counting and collecting stickers while the entire time they are learning the alphabet and first words.  Professional voiceovers sound out each letter in phonics and regular speech. 

The easy level features graphical image and voiceover of word to unscramble with hints for each letter. Medium level takes off one or two hints and the hard level takes away all cues and adds a timer for advanced challenge. They can tap on the light bulb at the bottom left for hints if help is needed.

It seems to work great but once you hit the home button, it doesn’t allow you to choose your previously made “player” and if you try to recreate the same name, it won’t let you. It’ll tell you there’s already a player under that name. However, it won’t let you choose that original player. So now you have to create another player under a different name and any accomplishments you’ve made previously are all gone. Disappointing…
