## What is Fiscan?

Fiscan brings dental facial 3D capture, Smile Preview, and Dental CAD preparation into one mobile workflow.

Follow the built-in animated tutorial for scan positioning and movement. Capture silent facial scan video with a supported device, reconstruct a textured 3D model using the cloud service or an optional local Mac reconstruction node, and review the result directly in the app.

Choose the higher-resolution mode on supported devices for higher-resolution capture and high-detail reconstruction. This mode requires more processing time.

Use Smile Preview to explore tooth shapes, adjust their position and appearance, and compare before-and-after views for visual presentation and communication. Smile Preview is a visual reference, not a treatment prediction or a manufacturing-ready restoration.

Import upper-arch and optional lower-arch intraoral scans in STL or PLY format. Align the intraoral scans with the facial model, confirm head position, inspect the virtual articulator and reference frame, and export a project package for compatible Dental CAD workflows, including exocad-compatible project structures.

Key capabilities:

• Animated capture tutorial for scan positioning and movement
• Dental facial video capture and textured 3D reconstruction
• Capture and reconstruction mode on supported devices
• Smile Preview with tooth appearance adjustments and before-and-after comparison
• Intraoral STL and PLY import
• Face-to-intraoral alignment with saved alignment data
• Independent upper-jaw and lower-jaw display controls
• Head-position correction and reference-axis review
• Virtual articulator visualization
• Facial landmarks and measurements for professional review
• Compatible Dental CAD project export
• Secure interactive sharing links and system share-sheet export
• Optional cloud reconstruction or local Mac reconstruction node
• Built-in example data for learning and evaluation

Fiscan is intended for professional data acquisition, visualization, alignment and export. Capture availability depends on the camera and AR capabilities of the device.

Fiscan is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical condition. It does not provide diagnosis, treatment recommendations or automated clinical decisions. A qualified dental professional must verify source quality, scale, orientation, landmarks, alignment and exported data before downstream use.
